Spinal pain
My spine hurts so bad and I woke up 2 days ago with severe pain. Last time I had a flare up with my spine I was bed ridden and couldn’t move my legs my husband had to lift my legs for me. The pain was so bad I cried so hard I wouldn’t wish that on anyone as it’s such torture. I see my docs in a few days

Adcal
I’ve just been prescribed Adcal I’ve been on Pred since April started at 15mg currently in 10mg and due to have a blood test next week to see whether I can taper further. I think I read somewhere that I shouldn’t take the Adcal at the same time as Pred can anyone confirm that is this correct please

I was wondering, with the latest studies on

Recovering from Robotic Prostate Removal
I had my prostate removed last week at MD Anderson. Recall that I was diagnosed with oligometastatic prostate cancer (3 mets or fewer beyond the prostate). In my case I have had only 1 met at diagnosis - in the T8 vertebra. Diagnosed 3 years ago at age 53. Had radiation to the T8, early chemo, and

Robotic Prostatectomy
I'm a 52 y/o male with a PSA of 4.9 and rising. Recent biopsy showed Gleeson score of 6/6/7(4+3) and 8 (4+4) across the midsection of the prostate. Bone scan and CT scan were both negative for spread. After speaking to my urologist he indicated that due to my age robotic prostatectomy surgery was

Physical Therapy for Incontinance after Surgery
This eventually led to my choosing to have a

robotic
prostatectomy
with non-nerve sparing. The surgery went fine but when the pulled the catheter out after surgery I found (Like most men) that I was incontinent. This is disturbing (I say in that it was horrifying).

New here - considering treatment options
Hi - I am new to the group and recently diagnosed with Gleason 7 and PSA 4.7. Interested in learning from others so that I can make a treatment decision. Oncology surgeon recommends removal (he was clear that he has a bias) but wants me to also consult with radiologist and offered to connect with me

Diagnosed 1 month ago metastatic to bone; now on hormone therapy. I'm new here.
First time using this site. Reside in US-NJ. Age 63. Had MRI guided fusion biopsy early June 2018, after having rising PSA over last 2 years, quickly rising within a few weeks from 5.7 to 20 (days before biopsy). 11 out of 16 samples were positive. Gleason as high as 10. Went to 3 major cancer centers

Intro
Hi everyone, just wanted to introduce myself as I am new here. I live in the US and have suffered from RLS most of my life. I have been taking ropinirole for many years and am now at 4mg. I live in a state where medical marijuana is legal so I am trying that now with mixed results. It definitely helps

Legalisation of Medical Marijuana in the UK
I’m sure we all heard the news yesterday that medical marijuana will be legalised here in the UK from Autumn 2018 in exceptional circumstances. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.bbc.co.uk/news/amp/health-44968386 I don’t know which cases will be regarded as falling within the “ exceptional medical need

For all UK people
Apparently medical cannabis is going to be legalised soon, I read in a paper yesterday I’m not sure how true it is or when it will be implanted or who it will be for but it’s a huge step in the right direction for us as all is chronic pain sufferers
