I have a variety of mental and physical health problems and have been looking for somewhere to chat with others living day to day with pain.
I am on a cocktail of medications and over the years tried steroid injections but found nothing works.
Breaking news today to be legalised for medicinal use could help a lot of us who suffer. I am from UK and am hoping to access medical cannabis once it is available.
Has anyone tried or benefited from self-medicating before and has it worked for you?
I am a little nervous and scared of it all as I've never smoked or taken illegal drugs before but would do anything to be pain-free. I have watched many Youtube links and listened to others saying how it has helped improve or changed their lives. I would be grateful for any advice.

Hi FancyTramp and welcome to the site, im currently trying cbd oil ( vaping) butit does take time for it to fully work, currently seem to be getting a little less pain, but will have to wait and see how it goes
As for the Breaking news today on legalising medical cannabis ( exceptional medical needs ) it sounds great, but i dont really see this helping out many folks that really need it, the big pharma companies will have their paws in it somehow, and i expect it will cost lots of £££ to have a licence to use/carry it...
i do hope im wrong, but its BIG MONEY, and i have a sneaky feeling , this will be aimed at the cbd market/ edible etc
Hi hun I have tried many and stuck with tramadol topped up with paracetamol,I have also had intra muscular Kenalog. steroid with good effect..
