Read Paper/Study on Radical Prostatectomy w/ Lymph Node Dissection (less as opposed to more /extended ) can’t find this study to read again
Does anyone have this study or paper that I briefly read on this topic and if it matters statistically of the amount of lymph nodes removed from surgery, ie: the amount of nodes removed over all compared to none, a few or extended. And also about the amount of lymph nodes removed, when it comes to

Peaceful nights at last!
I started posting on this forum 2 years ago but it is many months since I last posted so I wanted to tell you what is proving to be a happy ending to my long RLS tale of woe. I've had RLS all my life (inherited from my father) and for many years it was just an occasional thing but when I got old it

Chances of getting a hysterectomy on the nhs aged 30?
Anyone had any success getting a hysterectomy at aged 30 ? If so what did you have to do to persuade your gp it was right for you ? After 12 yrs of back and forth with no progress, I want to be able to make a choice myself. Finally a gp suggested endo in 2021 but nothing is confirmed. My ovaries

cannabis!?
Dear everyone, I feel like I'm still developing a relationship with things outside of myself. For example, cannabis! I have definitely overused in my life but then right now I am experimenting with microdosing. Its a start! I'm only on 5 MG of lexapro now and I feel like although I'm still miserable

Hysterectomy at 40 no endometriosis
I had my hysterectomy 2 days ago and although I am in pain I'm feeling relieved 😌. My consultant has told me he has found no signs of endometriosis and that my uterus was severely scarred from my 3 c-sections and my coil that had been embedded in my uterus. My bladder was stuck to my uterus and that

Left Side Stitch
Hi Everyone! I'm a 48 year old female that had a partial hysterectomy 5 years ago. Recently back in 12/22 I started having a dull pain almost like a side stitch without exercise on my left side. It seems to come on around BMs but on occasion it can come on at different times as well. It can radiate from

Hysterectomy at 30
Has anyone had a hysterectomy to help with endo pain and did it work? I’m 30 and yes, I know I am young but I have also suffered with severe endo pain for 15 years and have literally tried all options provided to me with nothing working. I’m gay, so if I want children in the future then I will adopt.

ART AACR Journal ; Effect of Sulforaphane in Men with BCR after Radical Prostatectomy
I have posted an NIH study with similar findings and have noted that I have taken 20mg of stabilized Sulforaphane for 2 1/2 years now (study was 60mg for M6 or 6 months)...who knows if my dosing is sufficient, but the length of supplementation is far greater. Regardless, I keep taking the supplement

hysterectomy
hi I’m due to have a laparoscopic hysterectomy next month. just wanted other ladies opinions on how long I will be off work. I know it does depend on what work you do so I work as a lifeguard in a leisure centre so am worried about going back too soon as I will always have to be ready to act on any

Hysterectomy Recovery
Hi everyone. As like most of us on here I have been suffering for many years. I decided after much consideration to pay for private treatment. I have had to borrow the money to pay for this but I know if I hadn’t that I would not have been able to continue with my full time job so would have been without

After RP who goes over Pathology?
We messaged Surgeon through portal and asked how many lymph nodes removed. He states that pathology will tell us that…Does the medical oncologist go over the surgery pathology?. My husband has great physicians, but definitely confused by these mixed messages of whom is willing to give my husband answers

Staying positive/ mind set
How do you keep going?! Until now my pain was manageable. But now nothing helps but codeine. I have 2 kids. I'm exhausted. I'm self employed so missing my work colleagues support network. Plan is to have a hysterectomy but can't have it for a year. I just feel very stuck. Are GPs supposed to help

Latest results
Hello, would anyone be kind enough to help me with my latest results? I have had an underactive thyroid since my early 20s and I have also been diagnoses with Hashimoto's, but do these results indicate I have now gone overactive? I had a full hysterectomy a year and a half ago and I'm not sure if that

Side Effects of Lupron plus Abiraterone
I'm 56 and 15 mos post radical prostatectomy. I'm on Lupron and Abiraterone plus prednisone. Aside from the 'normal' side effects of low/no libido, reduced testicle size, etc., I am losing much of my body hair. I'm referring to arm, leg, chest and armpits. Hair elsewhere is hanging in there, including

Have decided to have a hysterectomy but can t have it until the end of July which means I have to cope with my prolapsed uterus which if it drops to the edge of my vagina

Endo 'Stroke'
15 years ago I had endo ablation and 2 x 5cm ovarian cysts aspirated with success until now. Fast forward a relatively easy time of periods but on/off PMS with an undiagnosed progesterone intolerant body I am now perimenopausal at 47 years of age in health dire straits. I started on Evorel Sequi, changed

Determinants of PSA Response to Bipolar Androgen Therapy [BAT]
New study from Sartor et al below [1]. "Bipolar Androgen Therapy (BAT) is a novel therapy known to be effective in a subset of men with metastatic castrate resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC)." "Twenty five patients were non-responders and 16 were responders. Baseline characteristics between non-responders

Ovaries- stay or go?
Hi everyone. After over 30 years of pain and extreme bloating over the last two years, I’ve sadly no other option than to have a hysterectomy, I’ve been told. I’ve only ever had two laparoscopies in 2012. They’re reluctant to remove my ovaries, stating all the health related issues it can cause,
