CLOTTED MENSTRUAL CYCLE EVERY MONTH?

Before I was diagnosed last year I began getting clotted periods, I would get maybe one day or two of normal non-clotted but very bright red blood. It would then darken but only slightly and then it was mainly stringy clots. I currently have to use a Super+ tampon PLUS Depends each cycle just to so I dont go through my clothes. I still go through some times. The pain of it got significantly better with exercise of my pelvic floor and hips ablations at the gym. Its the flow nthat is driving me mad. I was only offered NSAIDS or Hysterectomy . Does anyone else bleed this way?

Hey there,

I’ve only recently got diagnosed after many years of going to the gp.

My bleeding was horrific and still can be. I can loose clots the size of my palm. I’ve bled through countless times and most recently bled through a fancy dress while at a wedding. It was mortifying 🙈😳

I had a 74 day bleed that would not stop and I finally got given norethisterone- this has now finally stopped my bleeding. Maybe worth asking for it?

Good luck! X
