Zoladex and HRT
Spoke to surgeonSo my surgeon rang yesterday and explained why they aborted the hysterectomy on Tuesday. He said my cervix was fused to my bowel and possibly left ovary and my rectum had been pulled down too. He said it looked to be endometriosis that had been there a long, long time and they wouldn't

Decisions re possible surgery
Hi I'm 43 with endometriosis and adenmyosis. Initially diagnosed with endo at 29 via laperoscopy. After chatting with the endometriosis nurse it seems these are my options. 1. Stay as I am (mirena coil in situ) and be referred for pain management. 2. Zoladex injections (chemical menopause). 3. Surgery

Advice please
Hi, I am due to have a hysterectomy in October. Ovaries are going too and there's a strong chance of bowel resection due to recto sigmoid endometriosis. If anyone has any advice for recovery or can share their experience I would be grateful. Thank you Aimee

Cervix
I had my second pet scan it shows a mass on my cervix. I had a hysterectomy. 20 years ago. So with the MBC and now this I am a little concerned. Going to a OBGYN go a test. Hopefully maybe scar tissue probably not since it was not there in the first pet scan. Praying. Has anyone else had this issue?

Do I need to stop taking estrogen? Feel as if I'm choosing between mental and physical health.
So I've read a lot now- probably too much. From what I can gather from things (and I am new to this - didnt know I had endometriosis until Tuesday when they aborted my hysterectomy as my bowel is fused to my cervix) estrogen seems to be the driving force behind endometriosis. Is that true? It also seems

Speechless by my GP’s response
I messaged my GP surgery and requested a full thyroid blood test (not just TSH which is all I’ve been able to get since COVID) as well as iron, vits B and D tests. I’ve been feeling really rotten, and want to look at every potential reason. Now, bear in mind I have been on HRT (prescribed by them) for

Husband passed away and I'm numb
Hi all, so my husband and my rock died from a brain haemorrhage on the 30th August. I am completely numb, I have obviously cried but I don't know, I feel like I should be on my knees crying my heart out or angry at something but I'm just not. I love this man with every fiber of my being and knowing I'll

PSMA Pylarify Test
Finally getting a PSMA Pylarify test after a PSA rise from 0.64 to 0.90 in 11 weeks. Should be interesting. No symptoms from the cancer so far. At the current PSA level it would appear there is an almost 90% chance of locating cancer somewhere. Also of some great interest to the doctor(s) is my status

Surgery waiting list whilst on Zoladex
Hi all! Quick question, just called my surgeons secretary to discuss coming to the end of my current zoladex injections and to chase up the surgery times and she told me the routine wait is one year, however because I'm on zoladex I'm on a different surgery waiting list. Has anyone heard of this before

Endo and fibroid issues
Hello all. No real question. Just needing to share as I'm a bit afraid of what's to come. Just had my second laparoscopy this week. Docs were unable to do anything at the time because one fibroid is so big (in the wall of my uterus) it's starting to squash everything. And lots of stage 4 endo....possibly

FSH going from 8 to 43 just in few weeks while preparing for a FET, is it temporary or menopause?
Hi Ladies Can anyone help put a light to my issue of FSH going from 8 to 43 just in 2-3 weeks while I was doing tests before a frozen transfer. I am devastated as I cannot find a logic to this. Background I am preparing for a FET cycle but my hormons all of a sudden messed up besides my thin lining

Treatment wait length- Public Health System Ireland
Hi all, I'm waiting on a scan appointment for suspected Ovarian Cyst and I'm in a lot of pain. I'm paying for it myself as I don't have health insurance and my consultant said I could be waiting 3 months on the Public Health waiting list. My mom had a 1kg cyst removed a few years ago and full hysterectomy

How has complete hysterectomy with ovaries removed also (or natural menopause) affected your symptoms?
Thank you very much, ladies. I hope everyone is having a pain free day

No endo found
Dec 2021 I had endo removed between my bladder and abdominal wall, dense bowel adhesions noted. Mirena inserted. May 2022 the pain started again, lower left side and down my leg. All around mid and end cycle. Referred back to gynae. Since tried the progesterone only pill on top, had a normal mri

looking for advice for RLS
Hi everyone, I am new here. Hoping to find relief for my RLS. I am located in the US. A bit of history, I’ve had RLS since about 2017. Started off moderate and was using cannabis for relief. Over time, symptoms got worse and smoking cannabis wasn’t working well. I then tried Kratom and got good relief

Hello, First post… Could someone please share their experience coming off rotigotine patches, and what helped you throughout this experience? Been on rotigotine for 4 or so years, and more recently started experiencing augmentation. Was on 2mg, in August GP suggested increasing to 3mg but that hardly
