Thank you very much, ladies. I hope everyone is having a pain free day
How has complete hysterectomy with ovarie... - Endometriosis UK
How has complete hysterectomy with ovaries removed also (or natural menopause) affected your symptoms?
Hi
Hope you’re having a relatively good day.
I did get rid of some of the pain after the hysterectomy, got rid of the feeling of something trying to force its way out at least. I have since had gallbladder, appendix and adhesions removed. Unfortunately I’m still left with some pain but partly my fault for leaving it over thirty years, I’m not the best example.
Thank you so much for answering. I'm glad you are not in excruciating pain any more, and your inside feels much better. It's always nice to hear that endo suffering ends at a point. That 30 years must have been tough though. May I ask if you think surgical menopause eased your pain unrelated to bleeding on your period? Like the pain in general, not just when having a period🙏
Hi
It’s not taken all the pain away, I still get daily pain. Where the uterus was is so much better, the rest is more abdominal.
For most of my life the pain was mainly around my period until 2019 then it became daily, not sure why and no dr can tell me either, though they still can’t tell me what this pain is. Still under gastro. Does that help?
Thank you very much for answering. Does this mean the surgery only took away the pain of just the removed organs? Omg this really sucks. I hope your symptoms get better soon, maybe it's some gasto issue
