A very special celebration!

Today my baby turned 13 years old! He's my main reason for quitting. My son is handicapped and also can not speak. He needs me for everything. I use to look at smoking as a way to cope with the hard days and the stress of raising a child with disabilities. I have now seen the light. It's amazig the excuses smokers will tell themselves to justify their addiction. "My life is hard" "i have stress" "it makes me feel better" and so on. I would tell myself all those things. And I would tell others those things when they would ask why i didn't just quit. I have finally given up the cigarettes because he needs me more then i need cigarettes. I have to stay healthy and alive as long as possible because my boy will never beable to take care of himself. I know if he could speak he would tell me how proud and how happy he is that i gave up smoking. ❤
