Mirtazapine... Lack of energy and weight gain.
I was house bound for about 2 months because of agoraphobia, and I still have the anxieties that I got from when I tried out
Prozac
(which DID NOT agree with me).. I have a fear of passing out, especially out of my comfort zone (which is my home) and I get health anxiety too.

cannot lose weight but GP says nothing to do with not having a thyroid and whats more if you think it is then you are deluded.
I had 10 weeks off work which I was only allowed to have off as long as i agreed to take
prozac
, i weaned myself off the
prozac
within a couple of months as they had no effect I was feeling better but that was purely because I didn't have to get up early in the morning to go to work.

Does anyone know a good GP in the Clapham North area who is sympathetic to those with thyroid and adrenal problems?
I'm actually on
Prozac
for my thyroid which may sound strange but it speeds up my metabolism which makes me warm and able to digest food much better. I'm not on any thyroid meds but am taking 4 nutri adrenals a day as advised by Dr P. All thoughts gratefully received!

Someone to talk or whatsapp about overesting or eating with no control?
It was not anything relly extreme, however I was taking
Prozac
(or Fluexetine) to control my overeating due to I used to eat with no reason. After 2 year taking those pills I gave up because I was fine, I lost weight and ate properly. One year ago I moved to England to look for a job.

what medication are you on? (only anxiety related)
I also know people on fluoxetine (
prozac
) but the side effects seem just as bad as Seroxat. I also don't particually like the idea of taking a drug everyday. I am dubious about taking meds, especially meds that seem to have loads of side effects.

Prozac
Hey so I'm a female and 18 in 2 weeks, I've just been given my first course of
Prozac
... I've been hearing some mixed reviews on it and I want to know how you have dealt with
Prozac
if you had tried it/use it.

ON THE ROUNDABOUT AGAIN!
Well after 15 years on Citalapram and previously on
Prozac
and Ativan... and serveral sessions of counselling. Yesterday I had a violent outburst at the post office on my way to the GP to discuss anxiety problems again...

I stay in bed for about 18 hours a day. Get up to watch tv or occasionally go out.. Have been on prozac for 15 years. Help?
I was put on
prozac
because I had very early menopause due to cancer treatment and my hormones were all over the place. I have not had a problem with it, except for lack of sex drive, which did not amuse my husband. Now I can barely go to the supermarket. Do I need different drugs?

TSH 7.28, then 5.37, FT4 at low end - borderline or not?
I've been prescribed a low dose of levothyroxine just this week - it has taken me a long time to convince a GP to give me a trial run on it (in my experience they just keep trying to palm you off with
Prozac
and hope you'll go away..)

Time really does help
I was on
Prozac
but have reduced my dosage to every 2 days and now 3 days with the intention of stopping altogether soon. It made me too hyper and therefore more panicky as i felt constantly wired! So for everyone who is suffering, things can get better believe me.
