Prozac

I have a friend who started taking Prozac and she is feeling much better. Anyone on Prozac? Please let me know what have you experienced , just want to have a better quality of life.

MDD and OCD , I use Prozac occasionally. On and off meds most of my life . I've done therapy. Not sure where to go from here

Prozac no good. Daily tears. Lonely and sad past anything i have ever known.

I'm tapering gradually, taking some supplements... have heard switching to another antidepressant which is easier to come off can help to prevent discontinuation symptoms, but Prozac seems to be the one most talked about, and when I tried Prozac years ago, I felt terrible on it, my mood went very low

He’s on a low dose fast acting concerta twice daily that will eventually get switched to long acting but we want to give the Prozac time to work.

We are considering an ssri, prozac. His developmental pediatrician has seen a lot of success with it for kids who look aggressive, but are actually anxious. The psychologist we work with is open to him trying it.

It seems like I am looking at Prozac or Buspar or the best anxiety med to help get my life back. I realize all meds have side effects so i need some guidance.

I've been on Prozac now for about 3 months and it's really been a game changer for me. Oh the wonders of modern medicine!

I began taking Prozac 3 minths ago and within two weeks I felt better than I have in years. I am also a three time suicide attempt Survivor and have learned along that road to never give up, that I am enough, that I am worthy, and I am fearfully and wonderfully made by God above.

I believe she's showing signs of anxiety tied to previous school trauma, but the psychiatrist recommended Abilify over Prozac because it has a quicker onset of action. I'm looking for other parents who has experience with this combo or Abilify alone.

4 yrs on & now taking over 100mg of levothyroxine & my weight is 14stone 5 pounds & now being advised to take 60mg of prozac to cure my depression...just feel like where is this condition heading? ...is there light at end of the levothyroxine/hypothyroidism tunnel?

Even if the Prozac ultimately works for her, it is likely to be several more weeks before we see much effect—more than that if it turns out that she needs a higher dose. None of us are sure how we will make it through that. Does anyone have advice for us?

antipsychotic meds again, to me it waa like deliberate punishment and torture and for months nothing changed, antipsychotic withdrawals induced neuroleptic malignant syndrome s causing catatonic mutism, restless legs went into remission, now the medication cycles beings again, now back on Olanzapine and prozac

My comes and goes quite often (even being on Prozac for a year). I would wake up extra tired, feel sluggish, unmotivated, disoriented. Then the following day still feel that way then the mental part kicks in.

Tried everything, prozac, pristiq, CBS, 5 htp,nothing works...horribly sad and discouraged. How do I go on any longer?

I was recently prescribed prozac.Have not started taking it. Some friends are on it and say it has helped them tremendously. I am leary. I have known so may on anti- depressants who either attempted or succeeded in suicide. I am depressed, I don't want to get worse. I am depressed but not suicidal
