Has anyone heard of or used 'MycoPhyto' for Hashimoto's?
I've been reading about it online but there is very little information - its described as ''a blend of mushrooms that balances your immune system and calms overactive cells. This product can be used for any type of immune system disorder''. I'm wondering if it would help with the autoimmune condition

Is it worth it?
I am 28, and have been going through what I think is depression and bouts with OCD for the entirety of my 20's. I have no social life, no career (although I do have a job), and no partner. In fact, I've never had a girlfriend, or been able to talk to women of my age. In some ways, I've always felt mentally

Just diagnosed on Thursday with Afib after second cardiac ablation for SVT
I had my second ablation for SVT on Thursday and have been diagnosed with AF among other things. I also have an autoimmune disease, liver disease (NASH) and a few other things. The Cardio now wants to put me on Flecainide and Diltiazem. I go back to see him on the 2nd where we will have the discussion

I am so fed up & just worn right down with this mind of mine that never stops thinking, reminiscing, comparing, remembering .... feeling angry, sad, bitter, hurt, disappointed ... but then feeling guilty as I have no physical ailments so I am able to get out & about if I want to but then my mind has

Bit of an update not been on much
Well had appt with rheumy week ago and we had a long discussion about stuff. He started off saying he thinks a lot of my pain is fibromyalgia and sleep apnea until he had a look at my blood test results, really high inflammatory markers and changed his mind about that assumption. I aslo told him that

My fangs need filing again, hypo thyroidism and hand washing five tons of bed linen don't go together!
'He' has been making lots of really helpful suggestions about how I could run the house without doing so many things when tired. This has come about as I needed to by an essential item. One solution, we could, or rather I could do less washing and we could all wear less clothes. Although this does

Some of you will know my previous posts under the name LeslieDilks. I have been going through a difficult personnel time, whilst also having doubts and uncertainties about myself. I therefore took myself off the Headway forum. Why?? I don't know Anyway! I've joined again as HannahS...change of name

Who can you turn to
Just been re-reading HEADWAY literature again before showing my GP (see my Post about GP support) and it has brought back the problems I had and how I was treat by The Community This has brought on a bout of depression / anxiety as I am imaging that I suffered from everything listed as I cannot remember

So I supposedly couldn't have children and found at (at 4 months) that I am pregnant. My question is this- alcohol....
I was run down and tired the first 2 months (obviously not realising why) and abstained from drink and anything chemical so its only the past 8 weeks. I have been having 2 glasses of either cider or wine twice a week. No binge drinking, no smoking and I only drink one cup of tea a day. Just normal (as

High Kaolin Clotting Time and RVV
Hi, I have a 16-year-old daughter who is having all sorts of tests to try to figure out which autoimmune disease she is heading towards. Blood tests are showing a high Kaolin Clotting Time, high RVV and high RVV + phospholipid. We are still waiting on the results of antibody tests. Is anyone familiar

Recovering from cardiac ablation.
Had ablation in mid Jan 2014, recovering well, pulse in sinus rhythm most of the time, only seems to become arrhythmic when i have stomach cramps and diarrhoea. Am on Amiodrone 200mg daily (since ablation), Bisopropal 5mg and Warfarin 7mg, any advice?, anyone else experiencing the same?

Do the behavioural problems associated with FASD always exhibit themselves or can they show in cycles?
Our son is now 7.5 years and has always had cyclical behaviours from age 3 these have become more pronounced and fit most criteria of FASD (but not the physical characteristics.) Birth mum was young and absent from care a lot during pregnancy and we know drink and drugs were a feature we can only guess

VitaminD activates 3 brain hormones serotonin, oxytocin, & vasopressin.
Supplementation with vitamin D and tryptophan is a practical and affordable solution to help prevent autism and possibly ameliorate some symptoms of the disorder. http://www.fasebj.org/content/early/2014/02/14/fj.13-246546.abstract?papetoc

Study on anxiety, adhd, depression shows vitamins work?
I was curious about your views on this study that just came out about EMPowerplus as a treatment for mental illness/mood disorders.
