Possible sibo?
I saw a Dr late Sept who dismissed sibo but tested for h pylori (result was negative) and prescribed lansoprazole alongside
probiotics
(which have previously made bloating worse).

How I cured my IBS in 40 days
Start
probiotics
: You will need a high quality, high bacteria count, multi-strain, brand that is stored and delivered chilled. I ordered VSL#3 direct from the manufacturer (450 billion bacteria per sachet, 8 strains), which was delivered with an ice pack in the box. Store in the fridge.

Sitting on the toilet until my legs go numb.
I cut my diet down to bananas, bread, chicken and rice and took
probiotics
. My stools improved and I slowly reintroduced foods. I've avoided onions and garlic the whole time. This morning I've had diarrhoea again after weeks of normal ish bowel movements and I'm really frustrated.

What is making everyone constipated???
I'm confused as to why so many people are still constipated etc and taking lots of
probiotics
and other stuff. Do the meds not work? Do you have other illnesses as well as the hypo? I'm very confused right now.

Probiotics?
Hi, does anyone take a probiotic regularly and if so do you find it has helped to reduce the symptoms of bloating, pain, etc? I am looking for a probiotic that is dairy free and does not contain a pre-biotic. Can anyone recommend one? Many thanks.

Probiotics
I have just bought a product from
probiotics
America called perfect biotics. It contains 15 different strains of bacteria at a level of 30 million. I have tried every diet possible and have come to realise it's not just down to diet for me. Has anybody tried these before? Thanks.

Digestive problems with PA
I've tried everything, most
probiotics
are lactic based but my bacterial overgrowth must be of the D lactate strain as these
probiotics
make my symptoms ten times worse. I recently tried soil based pro biotics which cost a fortune and they didn't go down well either.
