The hell of living with IBS.
Throw away Buscapan and all the yakults/ and
probiotics
drinks as they are useless. The only probiotic thats works costs approx Β£50-Β£70 a month is called Symprove. Tastes vile but it worked for two years for me.

PREDNISONE AND PROBIOTICS
I've been on prednisone for two years for GCA/PMR. During this time, I've also taken a probiotic. Recently, while researching...I've read these are not a good mix. Just curious....any other opinions out there ?

Scientists monitor crosstalk between intestinal microbes and immune system
"Researchers have successfully 'listened in' on the crosstalk between gut microbes and the immune system. This is the first study to perform a system-wide analysis of microbial influence on a broad range of immune cells and all genes expressed in the gut". See https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2017

Natural supplements!
I already take
probiotics
, fish oil, garlic and echinacea... I'm still going to ask my specialist what she thinks in terms of other medications to take but would like to bring up some other natural things to her and see what she thinks. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Rant Alert: Going Mad
This morning I've managed to sleep until 6.30. Approximately 2-3 Β½ hours longer than most mornings recently, so a good six hours or so. Iβve been wakening in the darkest pre-gloom no-manβs-land with a heart rate like that of a Grand National racehorse, running for its life and facing falling off a cliff
