Road to R-E-C-O-V-E-R-Y!!
So I was diagnosed with Lupus about 2 yrs ago. No symptoms, was feeling fine up until i got a weird rash on my left quad when I was out hiking one afternoon. I was told I had high inflammation. So instead of researching what was wrong with me, I subjected to trying this medication called Hydroxychlorine

Small fibre sensory neuropathy
I am 100% sure this is what my problem is. Saw neurologist nearly two years ago because at that time it was tingling strange sensation in feet and calves, but nothing too painful. All he did was some blood tests and then sent me away - no follow up appointment. At the end of last year I asked GP to

Still having diarrhea 1 month after laparoscopy...
So it's been now over a month since my laparoscopy, almost 6 weeks actually. I had occasional bouts of diarrhea like maybe once in a month or less before the surgery, and bowel endo was suspected. There was nothing on an MRI though and nothing found on the bowel during my laparoscopy. There was endo

Keratosis Pilaris getting worse
Hi, I've always suffered from Keratosis Pilaris on the tops of my arms and thighs which hasn't particularly bothered me much, but now aged 26, it's suddenly gotten much worse. My entire legs are covered in ugly red spots which have now spread to the backs of my thighs and even my bottom! Rather embarrassing

Hashi's & Adrenals - supplement help
Many of you regs know how poorly I have been for the last 8 months to the point of feeling suicidal (and still am). My private Endo (after tests) just put everything down to the fact that I am stressed and if I reduce that, my T3 will go up, my cortisol levels will drop and I will be hunky dory again

Where to go from here?
I take regular supplements: complete EFA, selenium (400ug), B complex, evening
primrose
oil
(1300mg). I haven’t addressed magnesium and zinc yet, I am afraid. I also made an appointment to see an endo privately. In February, he ran some tests as follows and asked me to return in March.

Stopped Warfarin after 4 months INR now 1.1
I've been on Warfarin for 4 months. I started taking Orthoplex Vitamin E Synergy, Omega Ease Fish Oil 1000mg, Advanced B-Complex Isotonix & Magnesium Isotonix for about 3-4 weeks. I stopped the Warfarin 5 days a go, had my INR taken 4 days after I stopped the Warfarin. INR is now at 1.1, previous

Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Vitamin A (Retinol, Retinoic Acid [RA], Beta Carotene)
This is the first in a series of reviews of the PCa literature for foods & supplements. When I began looking at studies 12 years ago, I started with vitamin A, which I quickly discovered is not an easy topic. It goes on a bit, so for those who want the bottom line: do not supplement with vitamin A (

2 Many Q's! NDT or Just T3?
Hi Everyone, Well its another Friday night at home... I have a few questions so I thought I would write it all in one post. Firstly, I was diagnosed as Hypo back in Feb, but have been symptomatic for around 5 years. My GP told me to just eat less and exercise more and that I had IBS. I knew that was

AN UPDATE ON MY GCA REDUCTION JOURNEY & NO RETURN OF MPS
2 weeks ago I reduced to 7.5 mg and, to date, haven’t experienced any withdrawal symptoms or side effects., so may well venture down to 7 this weekend. I’ve been taking 2.5 ng at midnight (we retire late) and 5 mg at 9 am. I’ve been splitting in this ratio for a couple of months and it’s worked

Does anyone how to get rid of them? I've heard that Apple Cider Vinegar or Tea Tree oil applied twice a day for three weeks works... or is this just an "Old Wives Tale?"
