Ablation & PVCs

Hi

I’ve been diagnosed with DCM with a very low EF of 35%.

Since leaving hospital with an ICD I’ve had numerous shocks due to extended runs of VT.

After my last hospital visit I started on amiodarone 200mg and felt fantastic, due to this my ablation was put on hold.

For the past few weeks my PVCs have got worse & worse & worse... to the point I spend most of the day in Bigeminy.

This is just so uncomfortable that I have requested to go back on the list for an ablation.

My question is - does anyone have experience of ablation treatment and a reduction in PVCs as my cardiologist said that the ablation may not improve them, but may stop the VTs.

Cheers
