Interesting Read.....I'm going to give Raw eating a try. What can it hurt?
It wasn't until May of 2006 that a liver specialist diagnosed me with
Primary
Biliary
Cirrhosis
(
PBC
). He did a liver biopsy to confirm this. I not only had PBC, but I was in the last stages. PBC is a liver disease that there is no cure for at this time.

Help needed possible hashimotos or is it fibromyalgia
Just got blood results from GP after difficulty in obtaining a copy. I thought TSH tested but no test done! I was diagnosed initially by myself and confirmed by GP with fibromyalgia in 2016. I believe (although now don't know) that thyroid tested in April 2015 when I went to gp with pain, stiffness,

Is my loop recorder working it’s way out?
Hi all, I’m new here, I have a question I’m hoping you can help me with. Got my St Jude implant just over a month ago. It’s a neat piece of technology that works with a smartphone they gave me (it communicates via Bluetooth with the smartphone and the phone sends data to the cardiologist). Really glad

Split-Liver Leak
Hi everyone! I had a split liver transplant 5 weeks ago today and up until a week ago, I had a drain inserted just underneath my liver as bile was leaking out from the split edge. This can happen with split liver transplants, but not always. I was wondering if anyone here has had any experience with

Weaning off Flecainide
Hi all, I am new to this group and looking for any support to help me understand what to expect while weaning off of flecainide. I have been reading some of the posts, and I wonder why my EP ever put me on flec to start with. Anyway, I have been taking 50mg flecainide 2x a day along with 2.5mg Bystolic

Can folic acid supplement cause UTI
Have had many urinary tract infections in the past- currently on trimethoprim for 9 days (3 day course didn't work). I had pain on passing urine but last week I passed a lot of bright red blood - very frightening - GP said it seemed like something had scraped and maybe caused by stones so pee in a jug

Cholesterol and Liver Damage
I have liver fibrosis and found out this week that my cholesterol is high at 8.7. My GP wants to put me straight onto statins and said it is high enough to admit me to hospital if I don't comply. I am worried the statins will damage my liver even more but the pharmacist said I will be okay. I would

PLEASE HELP ME!
I’ve had signs of portal hypertension, I was getting a squeezing sensation in my upper right abdominal area and my heart was beating fast in my ears. Had this over a few days around 5 days ago. Went to docs who refused to do anymore blood tests because I had some done a few weeks ago and had ultrasounds

What to do?
My liver is clogged up with fat, porphyrins and iron, basically a load of shite... Any of which on their own are toxic to the liver, the fat on its own was bad/scary enough. I'm waiting to see a haemotologist about the porphyria and iron loading. I'm 33 but I feel 83 most days, fatigue is what started
