Fibroscan
Had a Fibroscan 5 months ago which read 33. My BMI was 35 and I was a heavy drinker. I also have hemochromatosis which means there is to much iron in my liver making it inflamed. I’ve had 2 x MRIs, 2 x Ultrasound , CT scan and endoscopy which all indicated no liver damage . The Fibroscan reading indicates

Heartbroken 💔
Another liver angel 😇 has passed... No one knows her on here and I can't post on Facebook out of respect for her family... And I not sure others understand the bond you make with someone when you have had your transplants within days of each other and especially when you are the same age and you click

Heart problems
I’m still convinced I have a heart problem.. I went to the doctor and got a couple of test and I don’t know the names of it so I’m going to try to explain it. One test I had stickers all over me and the seconds test I had a monitor for about a week. She said my heart was normal but she thinks I have

Endo, cystitis and constipation
For the past nine months or so I've have cystitis around seven times, always needing antibiotics to clear up. I've also suffered from constipation three times severe enough to need prescription meds to clear. I've begun to notice the constipation comes around the time of my period. Has anyone else experienced

NHS UK on line information sheet: interstitial cystitis
I totally understand that at the moment there are more important things to do than updating online information sheets. However, once the coronavirus is over (very soon for everyone), could we ask the NHS to include endometriosis in the section explaining what conditions are associated with interstitial

UTI
Hi So I’ve recently had UTI, and was on antibiotics but now I think I have it again. The doctor wants me to go for a blood test at the hospital, but I’m quite concerned about this? With everything that’s going on is it safe.

Endo on US ligaments and interstitial cystitis
Was just wondering if anyone has been diagnosed with endo on their uterosacral ligaments who also experience severe bladder pain. I have been reading some papers suggesting that there is likely a link but was interested to know what other people’s experiences are. I was suffering with severe bladder

Hey Everyone Just want to start by saying that I've only had one run in with AF back in February but my cardiologist has not officially diagnosed me with AF since he thinks this MAY have been a one and done incident due to an adverse reaction to antihistamines... but only time will tell. Back in February

Bladder Issues
Does anyone else suffer with this issue? I was diagnosed with severe stage 4 endometriosis after a diagnostic lap in January. No Endo was removed as my bladder and bowel are bonded to my womb. I was supposed to be having an MRI scan on Tuesday but understandably this has been cancelled. I have suffered

Keto diet with cirrhosis - good idea or bad?
I have cirrhosis caused by excess alcohol consumption, now “dry” for past 3 years. I am told my cirrhosis warrants an A on the Childs Pugh scale. In an effort to reduce my weight further, so reducing my risk of developing type 2 diabetes, I have embarked upon the ketogenic diet. Does anyone know enough

Palpitations When Exercising
Hi all, I can empathise with most of the posts on here and my experience seems similar to yours in some ways, Lucy, although mines is quite unique. I’ll try to summarise but I’ll probably ramble as I’m pretty good at that 😉 So basically I’ve always been pretty fit and healthy: I’m 37, BMI 23, average

Improved Blood Tests?
Hello Friends, I hope you are all doing well today. Hubby was diagnosed with Alcoholic Cirrhosis two months ago after a terrible episode of bleeding varices. Fast forward to today, and as we are trying to learn all we can about managing the symptoms as they arise, your sharing has meant everything.

I'm only 39 and have just been diagnosed with AF.
I'm 39 and have been diagnosed as having AF. I've had it for 2.5 years, but it's only just been diagnosed- kept being told there was nothing wrong as it was hard to 'catch' on an ECG. It has got worse over the last 18 months and I was experiencing it constantly, it was very obvious on an ECG, so I went
