UTI

Hi

So I’ve recently had UTI, and was on antibiotics but now I think I have it again. The doctor wants me to go for a blood test at the hospital, but I’m quite concerned about this? With everything that’s going on is it safe.

Hello, if it is causing you pain getting worse and coming back etc you should probably have a blood test. But , take extra extra extra precautions like wearing 2 sets of gloves and a mask. I know it sounds extreme but the doctors/hospitals are the worst places to be currently and your safety is so important! If it can be postponed till a later date and you could get treatment for now it would be a safe option and look to see what could be causing it in the first place it can come from many day to day things, you’d be surprised! Hi hun,

Yes when I went to book my blood tests the first appointment is coming up in June... so I’ll leave it till then. In the mean time I’m going to do another sample for them to chk my uti again and see.

These things juts worry me cause it’s all vital organs involved.

But yea I certainly will be extremely careful thank you for caring and advice
