Hey Everyone

Just want to start by saying that I've only had one run in with AF back in February but my cardiologist has not officially diagnosed me with AF since he thinks this MAY have been a one and done incident due to an adverse reaction to antihistamines... but only time will tell. Back in February/March I had two xrays, an echocardiogram, ekg, stress test, and a two week holtor monitor performed, all of which came back normal and the holtor monitor picked up a few PVC's but nothing out of the ordinary according to my cardiologist.

Well, the last couple weeks, I've been having a weird chest tighfness(no pain) and I'm sometimes unable to get a deep breath. I workout from home and go on a run and the tightness seems to subside for awhile. In fact the only time I really feel this is when I'm sitting still for long periods of time. Again, there is no pain associated with this feeling, just some pressure.

I know what alot of you are think, that it could be covid. Well saw my GP about the issue and she thinks its either allergies or anxiety/panic attacks since I'm not showing any other symptoms like fever or constant cough and my vitals were normal. She prescribed me an albuterol inhaler and where this helps a little, I still can feel some tightness.

I googled symptoms and of course; the first the that came up way Cogestistive Heart Failure. Of course this triggered my anxiety and I called my cardiologist who assured me, after all of the tests they've ran, they've seen no signs of CHF.

My question to you all is, has anyone else seen symptoms like this? Im hoping its just allergies or my anxiety but I figured I would ask.

If you've read by other posts you'd know that I'm a 28 year old male, lift weights and do yoga regularly, have a bmi of 25 and sit around 200lbs at 6'3 with no prior health issues.

My daughter had this 'air hunger' and after many tests, she was prescribed an inhaler, which went a long way to relieving her symptoms. And, don't forget at this time of year, hay fever can give some of the symptoms you describe. And I know it is easy to say don't worry too much, but don't! You sound extremely healthy, just don't push yourself a too hard.
