Does liquid naltrexone need to be stored in the fridge?
Iāve recently gotten a prescription from Dicksonās pharmacy for low dose naltrexone and it says store in the fridge, but it also says a cool dry place on another label. Does it need to be stored in the fridge ? Iām hoping not

Asthma control post covid - are my expectations unrealistic?
I had covid in march. My previously well controlled asthma isn't anymore. I am currently on fostair 2 X 200 am and pm, braltus, montelukast, cetirazine, dymista and ventolin. I've had 4 short courses of pred since April and am now on a one month reducing course. I was referred to the local hospital

Very confused !
I have recently restarted the lchf diet and have been doing a lot of research during the course of which I came across a site called Healthline . In the article I was reading they were discussing why some people donāt lose weight using low - carb diets . Two of the reasons were ā eating too many calories

I've had my medication changed to 1 x fostair 100 in the morning and montelukast in the evening to clear the cough/mucus. My peak flow is still around 350

Covid and o2 sats
Tested positive for covid. Not been too good but I think I might be over the worst. We shall see. Cant get my oxygen sat levels above 92 but dont feel wheezy. But chest is heavy. Peak flow well down too, usually 400 now 284 or there about. Should I be talking to dr again. On oral steroids for one more

Itchy burning face, ears, neck
Just over a week ago I started having watery diarrhoea. Have now spoken to my GP and taken a stool sample for analysis but thankfully it is now clearing up. Don't know whether its connected but the skin on my face is burning, very itchy especially when in bed or warm. Its on my face down my neck,

Swings in peak flow between pm to am
Hi! Iām just wondering if there was any reason for me have such swings in my peak flow between from morning to the night. So for eg in the morning itās around 340 then at night itās around 420 . I am more symptomatic in the morning & know it is normal for it to be lower in am to pm, but should it be

A bit fed up
In the context of a global pandemic I probably shouldnāt grumble, but Iām a bit down after a phone consultation with my gp this morning. My asthma was diagnosed as severe after a nasty chest infection and (mild) pneumonia around Christmas 2019. Since then Iāve accumulated medications - now on Fostair

VitaminD levels & magnesium
I was just wondering if many of you have checked your Vit D levels. I assumed that taking Vitcal D for the last 6 years my levels would be good. When Iāve had bloods done they have never included Vit D. So I sent off to Medicheck and was surprised when the results came back at the low end at 60.7. So

Asthma flaring for no reason?
Hi everyone, After several false starts, I finally got my asthma under control in the autumn with twice-daily symbicort (4 puffs of the 200/6 dose) and daily montelukast (10 mg). I went from needing my reliever multiple times a day to 1-2 times a week, and in early December I managed a 21-day streak

Feeling bad, peak flow gets lower each time
Hey all I've always been told to take the highest peak flow reading. However my 1st puff is always high and as it should (350), 2nd 300 and 3rd 250. After I feel awful and tight chested. Also often accompanied by a wheeze. Anyone else experience this?

While not LCHF, it's health related. I think most of us on the board have more interest in health than the average bear! My wife and I decided to give this a try, but it'll be a couple weeks for results. I was just interested to see if anyone one the group and tried it. The kit promises to provide
