Normal inflammation blood markers- PMR symptoms
It was totally debilitating) and about being on
prednisone
if not needed and what else could mimic PMR so well. Any ideas? Thanks I’m advance. You’re my lifeline.

MS or PMR or both
I'm at 30 mg. of
Prednisone
which helps the PMR of course, but does not touch these muscle spasms, nor the pain in my hips, back, stomach. I know 30 is high, but I'm tapering. Had a GCA scare in January and was put on 60 mg. of Pred immediately only to find out it's not GCA (or so they say).

GCA flare dosage
I've had GCA and PMR for 10 months, on Actemra and was down to 9mg
prednisone
. When I went from 9 to 8.5mg I had a major flare and went up to 15mg. The flare continued and Rheumatologist said go to 20mg, maybe 25mg. After 2 and a half weeks on 20mg I thought I started to stabilize.

Running out of road....
I suspect he will suggest Abi +
Prednisone
. This will probably not help much with the weakness and tiredness, but as a holding mechanism I'd go along with it. However, we all know where SOC ends up, so I'm looking at other options and would welcome your thoughts: 1.

Tapering question
I have studied the tapering plan and still am flummoxed I had been on 5 mg of
prednisone
. Then asthma reared its ugly head and was given a course of 3 days each of 40, 30, 20and 10.

LDN and prednisone
From what I have read, I plan to take 1.25mg of LDN at night, and 10 mg
prednisone
in the morning, slowly working the LDN up to 4.5 and the
prednisone
down as reasonably quickly as I can without a flare. Has anyone tried a similar formula?

PSA Climbing while on Zoladex and Abiraterone with Prednisone
Going to ask if i can switch the
prednisone
for dexamethasone. Not sure if they will approve it. I was scheduled to start Xgeva. As I have been diagnosed with osteoporosis due to having ADT since 2017. What other treatment should I look forward to having. Thanks Rick PSA is 4.66

erythema nodosum after recast infusion cll numbers increased
I'm taking
prednisone
for inflammation. The rheumatologist is clueless as to why I got it. That will go away but i had a CBC and my WBC and lymphocytes were higher than usual. I'm wondering if it can be from the erythema nodes.

Lupron and Abiraterone post treatment expectations?
Ive had RP; PSA didn’t go to zero; started Lupron and Abi +
Prednisone
and then 33 radiation treatments of whole pelvic region. PSA has been undetected for 7 mos now. Hope to stop all treatments after 6/24 Has anyone walked similar path? Did PSA stay at zero? Did libido return?

Learning about GCA
Now increased from 10mg to 60mg
prednisone
. Eye check isn’t showing any long term damage and I have a plan going forward for steroids. Bit I’m struggling with is feeling grotty and trying to pace myself as I was previously very active. Also quite scared to be honest.

rheumatologist locum visit for prednisone refill
One of the things he mentioned was that injection of
prednisone
into the effect of joints would be better than oral
prednisone
. Considering I’m incredibly needle phobic, that would definitely not be better for my mental health!
