feeling off and having intrusive thoughts
I have never had thoughts about not wanting to live before, but being here (and after taking
prednisone
for a while) I have been having terrible intrusive thoughts. They are mostly about how things won't get better, life sucks, maybe I don't want to be here, etc.

Recent OCD diagnosis coupled with autoimmune issues- Need hospital, treatment centers, advice or recommendations
The next 6 months he held down a job, did not self harm, had zero suicidal ideations, and felt like a normal 18 year old, until... they began decreasing his

Symptoms when ADT no longer works?
Taking abiraterone +
prednisone
daily and Lupron shots twice a year. I am doing my best to live one day at a time but wonder what things will look like when the cancer becomes resistant. Does anybody know?

Reducing Prednisone!
Hi, Although I have been using
Prednisone
for over three years now I can’t say if gained any wisdom I can give you other than try hard to reduce the dosage very slowly. I’ve managed to reduce my dosage from 6 mags daily to now 1.5 msg daily and am hoping to phase completely off it!

I’ve been having flashes of light and now a dark spot in that eye. What to do? Could it be GCA? Back surgery on March 15.
I’m on 9mg of
prednisone
at this time. My PA requested the
prednisone
for my surgery and after surgery so I will not have an adrenal crisis. Thanks for any suggestions.

Uvedose Vitamin D3 100,000 - anyone ever taken it?
But in discussing my PMR and that I am still on Pred (now 1mg and testing slow countdown) , he said that when people get PMR or other autoimmune illnesses and take
Prednisone
, they are also given this ampoule of Vitamin D3 to take by mouth one time each month for 6 months to help with the autoimmune

Missed dose and Adrenal Failure
Can
Prednisone
be taken instead of Prednisolone? I’m really hoping that I can sort this out today over the phone to my GP’s surgery and the pharmacy and don’t have to resort to missing doses but any information would be most welcome.

Energy Boosters?
62 months of Lupron, Zytiga and
prednisone
is starting to take its toll on my energy. I still do an hour of QiGong, biking and hiking most days but getting harder to motivate myself through the ever increasing exhaustion. That said, anyone finding an energy boost from medical cannabis?

Low T
My husband has been on "vacation" from ADT, zytiga and
prednisone
for a year. His PSA is tested every 3 months. Today's number is still <0.1 ng/ml. However, his T was slowly building...17, 24, 42 and now dropping to 34. Should I be worried?

PREDNISONE AS A TEMPORARY PAIN RELIEF A GOOD IDEA
I have been off
prednisone
since late last year at the request of the rheumatologist. They do not believe I have PMR. Since I have been off
prednisone
I have not gone a day without pain and stiffness. My inflammation markers continue to be high. My day is truly predictable at this point.

Surgery and aspirin: what protocol with APS?
For the past 2 months I've been following a treatment based on Methylprednisolone infusions (2.5 g) and Oral
prednisone
(of which I'm currently taking 5 mg. Per day). I have doubts if I should stop all together Aspirine and what protocol to follow for surgery when having APS.

Prednisone forever?
Hi Everyone, It's been a while since I've posted. My hubby is almost at 1 year on Pred for PMR. As soon as he tapers, his shoulder pain comes back. He is recently retired and suffering through this madness, which I think started after taking a booster (please don't debate me - this is factual to me

Tired, sick-feeling, slightly unsteady?
Abiraterone,
prednisone
, Lupron, radiation. My PSA levels remain low and steady. However, for the last few weeks I have felt weaker than normal, slightly nauseated, and a little unsteady when walking. Pretty much all day long. Does anyone know if this is "normal?"

unsure how to increase prednisone with flare
Diagnosed with pmr on 1 November and started on Prednisolone 15 mgs. This was increased to 20 mgs after 3 days as the 15 hadn’t helped, Was on 20 mgs for 18 days and told to reduce to 15mgs. This seemed to be too big a reduction as symptoms returned so Pred was increased to 17.5 for 10 days. Reductions

Referrals??
I started right away on Casodex, then Eligard, Zytiga, and
prednisone
, and later began monthly Xgeva. Xgeva has since been weened to every three months (April 2022), and within 6-7 months, I suffered my first Vertebral fracture (t-11) compression fracture "Osteoporotic".
