Broken ankle - burning sensation
Hi all just looking for some advice. I broke my ankle just over a week ago and today I was fitted with a boot. I’m currently laid in bed in agony with an awful burning sensation in my toes. Has anyone else ever experienced this? I didn’t have this with the half cast only tonight with the boot. I’m not

Pre-diabetic - is this linked to thyroid issues?
I’m 35, BMI of 20, don’t smoke, exercise regularly, eat pretty low carb, gluten free and pretty much avoid all processed foods - I’m not a typical candidate for

I want to get as much information as I can to help myself. I have been reading as much as possible and understand I have to be careful of carbs. I thought I'd be ok eating fruit, which I love.

How long before tingling toes occur in untreated diabetes?
How long does it take before peripheral neuropathy in the form of "tingling numbness" in the feet appears in untreated type 2 diabetes. Of course there are many factors such as the degree of diabetes and diet but are we talking weeks, months, years?

Diabetes 2 or just insulin resistance...?
My GP has diagnosed me with diabetes 2 based on my latest lab results. I've been struggling with insulin resistance for a few years but previously managed to keep it under control (and lose weight) using berberine. In the past nine months, I've put on a lot of weight and have had incredible cravings

Eating Japanese sweet potatoes may lower blood sugar.
Hi everyone, This was in the news papers recently about Japanese sweet potatoes which are drier and creamier than regular sweet potatoes as they contain the extract caiapo, which's believed to lower blood sugar levels. Here's the Daily Express article: https://www.express.co.uk/life-style/health/1182361
