Hi Everyone hope all are managing this life changing AF. Frustrated by my memory loss
Hi everyone, This is my first time posting and I'm really confused, frustrated and not even sure if should be in this group. Way back in my late teens (I'm now aged 50) I was doing what was then called a BTec which I think now translates as a HND in care work. I worked in all areas and went on to be

Back pain stops play
For the first time in 4 months, going to have to listen to my body and take it gentle. Back going into spasm, which it does with me, but not since starting running. So gentle pottering, some emergency diazepam and let’s see how things are in a couple of days. Keeping everything crossed. 🤞🏃🏻♀️

TSH 9.5 and gp refused to up thyroxine special needs
My partners brother is on 75mg daily of thyroxine, he’d gained a lot of weight, face & eyes are puffy, and he’s taken to bed a lot. My partner pushed for thyroid bloods 2months ago and TSH was 5.7, gp didn’t up thyroxine. Bloods have now been repeated and TSH is 9.5 and still gp hasn’t taken action.

Help
I am currently coming off lorazepam as my doctor decided it is not good and put me in a bit of a corner. However I was on 4 and after 12 weeks down to 2. Which I consider not bad going and to be honest not as bad as I thought. A lot of issues from the past have surfaced though of anger and my poor husband

Debilitating back pain
I havnt posted here for a while as I've been really unwell. I had a hip replacement 5 years ago Due to OA . A few years after that i began to notice the odd niggle in my back. Over the last year it has got worse going in to spasm regularly. I can't even begin to describe the pain when this happens. Now

Mental health can do one
After battling mental health for many years now I have finally spoke out and told my partner that I hear voices after she left me, I know it’s not the best thing to do keeping things from your loved ones but you have to understand I was scared that she would leave me and now look at what’s happened

Does anyone else suffer from severe, burning, bright red heels?
This is just another element in the daily cycle of stupefying pain for which there seems no relief. As a nervous system complaint, I often wonder if my fibromyalgia was induced by exposure to radiation exposure - I took part in the Xmas Island nuclear weapon tests way back in 1957/58. Of course, the

Felt like I couldn't breathe
Today I had an appointment with a psychologist to talk about my anxiety. It went really well, and I managed to go there without relying on the diazepam. I felt really good after, but a few hours after I had got home, I had a pounding headache, then when I got up, my heart raced and I felt like i couldn't
