Best mix of meds to treat migraine (UK)
Hi All. I read a post a few days ago about the best meds 'cocktail' to get migraine relief - I have read of people going to A+E where they seem to give some intravenous infusion and can we match this. The answers to the other question were mostly from USA I think with drug names I did not recognise

Battle of Corticobasal
Good day… I read with heartache about your 11 year battle with CBD… Is your husband able to speak…? Is his speech drastically affected? Is he able to move out of bed into wheelchair with your assistance or do you use a lift… My wife was diagnosed five years ago and is reaching a point where it’s very

Demoted for being ill
So today, in a meeting with the editor of the Scottish newspaper for which I work, a meeting I instigated because I have been off for a couple of months with the old can't-get-out-of-bed-today-wish-I-was-dead ruse and wanted to sort out a phased return to work. But I was told I was being demoted because

Pred for scary dental appointment
I already sent this once but it disappeared, so I hope you don't get it twice. I usually see a very nice dentist who specialises in dental phobia. Even so, the last time I went to see him I had quite a bad headache afterwards and ended up taking an extra 5mg that night. Now he has had to refer me to

What has helped you during the post chemo "recovery".
I just had my first Docetaxel treatment. Then followed one day of grace ("Gee, maybe these treatments won't be so bad".) and two days of pure Hell (I'm a ghost, with a vise on my head, flames in my joints, I feel like I ate 12 boxes of Cheese Puffs, horrible, just horrible). Third day (today) life is

Smear test after sexual abuse, under general anaesthetic?
This is my first post in this community so I hope I have chosen the right one and it’s in the right place. If not, feel free to point me in the direction of another forum :) I am 28, I had my first smear 3 years ago at 25. It was horrific. It was the process itself, but I experienced sexual abuse as

What is it about pregablin?
Well my heading says it all, if I had known and surely if drs hadn't been so blind or oblivious to the side effects, and the withdrawals surely such a drug would never have been introduced to us with anxiety, ok I read with pain it seems to help but u guys still also ensure the side effects and withdrawals

Fentynal Patches with CDB Oil
I have been in chronic knee pain for the last seven years following a total knee replacement and am currently on Diazepam, Tramadol and Fentynal pataches which have become less and less effective. I have seen that CDB oil could help me. Has anyone any experience of mixing these medications? If it helps

Advice on Dystonia (Seizures)
Geoff was having prolonged and frequent episodes of Dystonia, where his body arched and became rigid. He would sweat profusely. We tried Procylidine and Baclofen to try to reduce but without effect. The GP has now put him on a small but regular dose of Diazepam and he still has the other 2 meds mentioned
