PTSD with autoimmune disease in family
I have PTSD and I have for the last year been having really weird symptoms, chronic ear infections treated with antihistamines and antibiotics. It still keeps coming back. It's a build of pressure feeling in my ear that is just obnoxious. I also have heavy periods that last over 7 days. Joint pain,

How to Support
My cousin is currently in an inpatient mental health facility suffering from postpartum psychosis. She has mania, auditory & visual hallucinations, and delusions. She has been in for four days and has not yet been responsive to any medication. We've heard that people typically remember everything

Are any of you on the medicine that is for PTSD?
It took my doc & I, 3 years to find what worked for me. They treat me the same way as they treat our military men & women that suffer from ptsd. Starting with a pill you take at night to help with nightmares. See, for a long time, ptsd was considered just for the military.....but there is civilian ptsd

Feeling a little blue
The front room sofas have seen better days, they are tired looking and getting a little frayed here and there, especially one arm of the sofa nearest the bow window where Alfie ( my little Jack Russell) insists on sitting so he can vocally inform any passer-by or person who has the temerity to step on

Anyone who has antidepressant and antipsychotic while on pregnancy
Hi all, I am 26 weeks pregnant. I have a 27 months old daughter. I developed a fever after I gave birth. I lost consciousness three days after the delivery. I then developed postpartum psychosis although I didn't have any mental disorder before and no family history of mental disorder. I saw a consultant

ADHD & Psychosis
Hi, I have recently been diagnosed with Adult ADHD ( I'm 20) . I was told I needed medication as I have it quite severely and that I had to have non- stimulant medication . I was prescribed Atomoxetine which is more commonly known as the brand Strattera and was told to work my way up to the highest

Well Gals & Guys, here we all go once again ?
This latest "post" is intended to inform, and share my medical experience's with all of my fellow UK Cmt sufferers, via the 'Health-Unlocked' UK's website ! We are always being repeatedly told by our own individual 'Health-Professionals' (Doctors-Neurologists etc), that Cmt only effects, and results

A hello and a question about c-section
Hi everyone, I am so grateful there is a community for people to share experiences on PP and support one another. My wife had an episode of PP following the birth of our son 2,5 years ago. She was hospitalized for 3 weeks and given shots for another 6 months. Everything went back to normal. Now that

Does anyone know Olanzapine's mode of action?
I had PP after my first son and was prescribed olanzapine. I also took it after my 2nd son at a lower dose as a preventative for a few months (that time I was fine). Anyway, 2 years on, sometimes I take olanzapine 2.5mg if I'm under stress and feeling a bit wired/my mind is racing slightly etc. Maybe

Anxiety after pp
It's been nearly 5 months since being diagnosed with pp. I was on an extreme high after taking my daughter home. I felt invincible and jumped out of my third storey window a week after the birth. Luckily I left my daughter in her Moses basket. My husband and mother were there at the time but couldn't
