Pills and food stuck in esophagus
Hi Everyone, I’m wondering if any of you have had a similar experience to what I’m dealing with. I had a laparoscopic hiatal hernia repair with toupet fundoplication back in September of 2018. Since December, I’ve experienced episodes of a full feeling behind my sternum that comes along with heart palpitations

Insomnia and it’s affects
This is my first time writing a post. I had PP last year and severe anxiety. I am happy to say my PP is gone, but my anxiety, well I believe it will stay with me, as I’ve struggled with it for awhile now. But the reason for my post is insomnia related, do others find that when their anxiety etc is high

Lost
Hi. I'm nervous to be on here because I'm scared to be vulnerable. I suffer from ptsd, depression, anxiety, and bipolar. Um... I'm just lost, feel like no one cares-- especially the ones you want to the most. Just wondering if anyone else feels like this. I've done everything. Psychiatrist, therapist

Second 10k done and a fuel question
Really chuffed, and it was quicker than my first (although still very slow). Enjoyed Run with Eliud on the NRC app: he comes across as a lovely man and definitely made me smile 😊 As an aside: I have tried Revvies strips for long runs, as I’m out for over 1.5 hours. I don’t feel I need fuel as such

got up early as usual to finish week 7, 25 mins runs. Previous 2 runs I completed, they were hard but managed ok and felt really pleased with myself. Today I was struggling, yes I finished but only just, I was so hot, despite running infront of a fan( the ladies of a certain age will appreciate my reasons

Diagnosis of achalasia
Achalasia affects only about 6,000 people in Britain who are at various stages of managing the condition, so it is rare. For some, it can be a long time before the condition is diagnosed, and can become confused with eating disorders, for instance. Achalasia prevents people from swallowing properly

A family member was in an induced coma late last year for a couple of weeks and experiences terrifying hallucinations. 7 months on and they are still asking family what they were like when they woke up and they said they still constantly think about the dreams

Should he increase C/L dosage?
My husband was diagnosed 4 years ago. He is on C/L 25/100 4x/day. Also .05 rasagiline, and B1 500 mg 1/day. In the last 6 months he has gone downhill ... slower movement, cognition/slow thought process and reaction time, balance, very poor sleep, poor posture. Neurologist is suggesting increasing

W9R3 - not a Parkrun but a parks run 🙂
Snuggle down, this could be a long one! I really wanted to finish my C25k journey by doing my first Parkrun but I'm giving blood tomorrow so couldn't leave my graduation run til Saturday. So I decided to run through as many of my towns parks and green spaces as possible. Some of you may remember I

Week 7 struggle
I did my second run of week 7 today and it was hard. But I did finish it. The last few minutes I kept thinking “ how did I just do this ? “ I’m pumped that I’m still sticking to the program but today was harder on me for some reason. I actually ran further than I did Monday. So I’m getting faster
