Today, Action on Postpartum Psychosis is asking supporters to share their stories of recovery from Postpartum Psychosis on social media. All stories are welcome.
*To get involved, share a photo or a selfie along with your story on your social media channels using the hashtag #FromMe2MBU and tagging @ActionOnPP and @LouisTheroux. You may also wish to include the BBC's programme hashtag #MothersOnTheEdge.
How did your experience of being in a Mother & Baby Unit (MBU) help you to recover? We want to highlight the importance of MBUs in recovery from Postpartum Psychosis, in particular. This is to time with the new Louis Theroux documentary airing at 9pm this evening on BBC 2. In this programme exploring maternal mental health, Louis visits two MBUs. There are currently NO MBUs in Wales or Northern Ireland. This needs to change.
Please encourage your family and friends to support with re-posting and sharing their stories too.
Other hashtags to include in your post, space allowing:
#PPtalk #MaternalMHMatters #MBUWales #MBUNorthernIreland #EveryonesBusiness #LouisTheroux
