Talk to expecting mums on my experience of PP
Hey guys, I’ve had PP twice, my boys are 2 and 1 years old so not all that long ago. I was very lucky that I recovered fairly quickly, I had never heard of PP before my illness. Ive been ask to share my experience with some expecting mums. I’m very aware that I need to not try and scare the mums but

Hiatus Hernia
Hey guys, is there someone who suffers from Hiatus Hernia and GERD? How do you deal and cope with the hiatus hernia please? My gastroenterologist has claimed that I do have a hiatus hernia which the size isn't small from an endoscopy. I did the barium test also and nothing serious has been found. But

PP before birth?
My psychosis started a month before I gave birth. It continued into postpartum but my big episode happened before I gave birth... would that still be considered pp? I’m having difficulty getting answers and a proper diagnosis. No one seems to know anything. Desperately looking for more information. Thanks

Taking care after postpartum psychosis
Hello everyone, I posted a couple of weeks back about my sister who was suffering from PP. She has shown remarkable improvement after her medication was changed to God sent ‘ olanzapine’ . In just a matter of two weeks. She will be returning to her home in Europe next month with her family. Is there

Positive pregnancy test, eek!
I’ve just found out I’m pregnant, it’s very early and I have a history of miscarriage so I’m not counting my chickens just yet but, trying to be positive and think ahead! I had PPP when my son was born in 2016. I was very fortunate, all things considered, and responded well to treatment very quickly

PTSD
I have just being having flashbacks to my PPP on set. I believe what caused my PPP was the fact that I was abused as a child. All through my pregnancy there were programmes on the TV saying that if you were abused you will go on to abuse your children. I tried not to pay much attention, but subconsciously

Anxious about birth
I’m due to give birth to my third child in a few weeks. I have bipolar and have had PP with both my other children, plus lots of episodes of mania and depression in between. I’m just coming out of a six week manic episode. I’m scared of how birth is now going to affect me.

Med-induced depression
I have been dealing with c-ptsd most of my life. I’ve been doing very well and I’ve had great therapists. I use my coping techniques. My problem is one reason I have c-ptsd is health issues. If I was a cat I’d still be dead. ☺️ When something with my physical health makes it necessary to add pain
