I'm so overwhelmed by everything. My symptoms have increased drastically. I have researched different treatment options and treatment facilities. I tried EMDR and am currently in therapy and see a psychiatrist. Last March I went to Texas for inpatient then outpatient treatment for a month. (I'm from New England, USA). That helped tremendously. It seems though every where I contact for treatment does not take my insurance or is private pay. I cant afford $20,000 a day for treatment. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm feeling like I'm hanging on by a thread and that thread is beginning to unravel.

Insurance covered treatment for C-PTSD or PTSD?
Hi Mayo1103,
Welcome to the forum.
I am not in the US so I don't know how to find a treatment. I don't know if you tried already calling your insurance company and ask them to find what practitioners and clinics are partnered with them near you?
If you are reaching your limit, maybe finding a charity or hotline to talk to can help you through until you find the right therapist. Some of them have very compassionate volunteers and may even know where to look for a practitioner or know someone who could help.
You have done so much and put so much effort into healing and I sincerely hope your perseverance will pay off.
Hey there, I hear you. I'm in UK and can't get any treatment. I'm losing it too. Have you looked into Sensorimotor Therapy, or Somatic Experiencing? That's what I'd do, if I could....
Same, no insurance, no help! Go figure! and they say, reach out, there is help....But without insurance, there is no help...... It's a money business, not a business of compassion and goodwill.
