Hello everyone! I am now menstruating and my PTSD symptoms are more intense. Because of my PTSD, i feel kind of disconnected from people and when i do associate with people i feel even more anxious. Part of me wants to keep to myself, but i also think that i would be wasting my life away by isolating

We are all in this, trying to find what to take, what not to consume, wanting a cure, told there isn't one or read it may be possible to get some kind of remission. You recall I, as some, can't take the meds, severe side effects. I also had several useless doctors so learned a lot from this site and

I very recently just started smoking again after having quit many months ago. Is this going to hinder recovery?
Hey there I quit smoking many months ago. Now what have I done? Started again. It's been a stressful time, and literally everyone I know at the moment smokes like a fucking 20th Century Cruise Liner. Already I feel unhealthy. That said, when I get really stressed I can smoke a cigarette... But I'm

Hi all, I won't go in to laborious detail about my endo....see my bio! It's stage IV and not being treated as I'm TTC. However two weeks ago my latest scan showed several endometrioma which have grown rapidly and my mood....like my bladder control is deteriorating rapidly! Never thought I'd be in Tena

Goodbye letter
I am grieving the loss of my ptsd suffer. I recently wrote a 5 page letter to give her so I can get rid of any guilt and can say I got everything positive off my chest that I felt I needed to get off.

The Doc who gave up (prescription) drugs BBC 1
Evening all I just watched the second episode of the above named program. Quite interesting on several fronts. Firstly he prescribed some patients to do exercise. When they didnt do the exercise he gave them quite the pep talk. Basically saying would you miss an x-ray appointment? No. Would you miss

Help - Pain and Mental Health
I'm new here and after some advice. My story is a long one so i'll keep it as short as possible. I was diagnosed with PTSD/Depression/Agoraphobia back in 2009 for which I have been receiving treatment on and off. I had a heart attack in 2010 which I was told was stress related. So life has been a daily

Sami Murphy B210k - first week finally over
When is autumn coming? With dismay I realised the weather at the weekend was going to be brilliant again - that means I don't get my long run in, because I can't get up early enough to get out when it's cool. This morning I thought I could at least get the last run of week 1 of the B210k over and done

PTSD Breakdown
Hi, New to posting here, just wanted to see what other people think... I have PTSD, Axienty, depression & a few other things going on. I'm good 90% of the time really happy to be that way. Sometimes I get flashbacks, I lose my temper I lose totally control & go mental. So one of my best mates was over

One of the vexing problems faced by men intrigued by PCa-Polyphenol study results, is how to improve bioavailability. This is particularly true for curcumin & resveratrol. While micronized versions of these now exist, bioavailability issues remain for a dozen others. The primary reason for poor bioavailability

This is a long but amazing read, whether or not you have been victimized by a psychopath - although likely most with PTSD or cptsd have: http://www.cassiopaea.com/cassiopaea/psychopath_2.htm I have not viewed entire website but want to Seems like a great resource.

Fed up with doctors.
I am constantly fed up with my GP continually saying that all my physical problems and chronic pain is because of mental trauma and ptsd. I get that ptsd causes physical symptoms but I successfully overcame my ptsd two years ago and I have chronic pain from a bad fall and car crash that have nothing

As promised, AmericanRonin's cheeky post has inspired this one. I just finished my third week of ibrutinib (and third week off of travel to OSU's clinical trial which resumes next week) and I'm happy to report that I'm back to regular Ellen, i.e. Energizer Bunny with plenty of pep and energy. I get
