Ginger
I found myself fancying a ginger beer last evening and so had one, only to then have a better evening. A quick Google reveals there is a correlation with RLS due to the anti-inflammatory properties, although for now I'm sceptical about whether one ginger beer could have had so immediate effect. What

Hi! I'm new here.
New to the group. I've had depression and anxiety plus ptsd my whole life. Things are turning around with good med care and DBT classes. The holidays were tough, but I actually enjoyed them. Happy Healthy New Year to everyone out there.

Anxiety & depression
Hi all, here's a quick introduction to me. I've had struggles with anxiety and depression my entire life. I've also been diagnosed with PTSD since I was a teenager. I believe I have the complex form of it, which arises not from one single traumatic experience, but from several. I've also had 2, possibly

Thank you all
Just wanted to thank everyone for the help and advice when I lost my neve after hitting a nerve in my leg when self injecting. Managed to give myself half a ml a few days after and freaked out and pulled the needle out and couldn't go again. Tonight I loaded and tried but had to leave I for an hour.

Can adrenals heal?
I was diagnosed with Hashi's 15 years ago, I'm now 62 and retired. I'm also in stage 3 adrenal fatigue syndrome (virtually no cortisol in June 2016). I've been self-navigating for the past 6 months, and have seen a LITTLE improvement in the fatigue and depression. I am able to take care of myself and

Hi! Recently diagnosed with RA. I can barely get around and the pain is crazy. I'm going to see a Rheumatologist on the 19th, which can't come soon enough! I fought for 18 years with Myasthenia Gravis and I'm finally in remission only for this to happen. I've lost the pep in my step and I'm praying the

I'm new here
I've only just found this site. It's such a relief to read some of the posts and replies as I thought I was being super ungrateful and pathetic. On the 19th September I returned from dropping my daughter at her new uni and suffered what I thought was indigestion. I did nothing as it passed. Ironically

Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Medicinal Fungi - Button mushroom - Agaricus bisporus
Surely I jest? The lowly white button mushroom [WBM] contains an aromatase inhibitor. As such, it may inhibit the conversion of testosterone to estradiol. WBMs are also a source of conjugated linoleic acid [CLA]. Surely, not a whole lot - but [1c] describes it as "an important component". & "WBM was

leukotriene agonists and 5-lipoxygenase inhibitors
Hi Folks Need to tap into your direct experience of leukotriene agonists and / or 5-lipoxygenase inhibitors. Currently pattern is a need for 5 / 10 Day Oral Steroid Burst about every 4 to 5 Weeks. Thinking about asking my Consultant to give me one of the above if I need to have another Steroid Burst

Hello
Hello, I am new to the site. I have suffered from phobias and anxiety most of my life. I fell at the beginning of this year and broke my left kneecap and wrist. Very hard recovery. I have developed a severe case of PTSD from the trauma. May I ask has anyone else suffered from PTSD?
