Do I need to reduce T4? Latest results
Hi everyone, as SlowDragon is aware from our conversation yesterday I have had another blood test done. And now I have my new test results. I am on 150mcg T4 Synthroid daily and 7.5mcg T3 split into 2 doses daily. I think I need to reduce my T4. I increased it from 100mcg to 150mcg after my last test

Imbruvica with Hep B
Three years ago when I was diagnosed with Non Hodgkin Lymphoma the first doctor went out of his way to protect my liver. In 1982, 35 years ago I had a full blown case of Hepatitis B. I was tested for Hep B antibodies before I went on the first chemo medication. Along with the first three chemo drugs

Recurrent Cellulitis - genital area … therefore Trimethoprim 100mg
I’ve had single leg Lymphoedema for 15 years now and this has been well-managed with stockings, exercise and skin care etc. Recently I’ve had monthly cellulitis attacks that always start in the genital area and spread a little. I carry Penicillin and this clears it up within 24 hours (therefore mild

Anger with the champix
Hi there, I'm now on day 10 and still smoking but only around 10 which is good for me. My problem is the anger. I'm snapping at absolutely everything , especially the kids who think I've lost the plot. I didn't have any patience before I started these and now I can turn from normal to psyco in seconds

Hi all, I know everyone is different but after following this group for 2 years and having some helpful advice I wanted to post an update which may help others. I have been suffering with hair loss for 21 months and lost allot of hair ( over 200 a day). I have had all the blood work under the sun

Best time of day to take Vitamin B Complex?
I'm hypo, with Hashi's, and have been supplementing for almost a year based on the helpful advice from everyone on this site. Approximately 2 months ago I went gluten-free. After my last Medichecks test in November 2018 I was advised (by this site) to add B Complex to my supplements, so I started on

Does T3 use up Vitamins?
Hi all just a quick question does anyone know if T3 uses up Vitamins specifically the B Vitamins because I'am very low again on Folate (guessing around 5 or lower) and have all the symptoms of it. Also my b12 was last checked to be in the low 300s. So I got a whole wack of bloods again to check for anemia

OTHER SUPPLEMENTS WITH VITAMIN B?
I am currently on weekly b12 injections (pushing for 2x weekly) but I am curious as to what other supplements I should be taking while receiving these injections. My doctor said that my folate levels were “fine” after 2 weeks of injections and that my b12 was raised (waiting to pick up my results so

Inositol hexaphosphate plus inositol
New paper below. I don't like anecdotal info, even from the Mayo Clinic, & particularly for a different cancer, but I know that Dr Shamsuddin's formula is popular with many men with PCa. But please don't try it as monotherapy like this crazy person: "Inositol hexaphosphate (IP6) also called phytic acid

Supplementing with Biotin &/or Inositol
Just used the Search Box,but decided to post to get answers after trawling for an answer to my query. Is it a good idea to supplement with either of these B vitamins if underactive with Hashi's?If so,why? I rarely eat meat, but I do eat all other foods.I supplement already with B vitamins: B1,B2,B5,B6

Supplements
Hi there I was wondering how many others have had really good success with using supplements for their RLS. My partner had legs that jumped in the daytime and at night I put him on a complex B and his legs are usually really good except when he gets slack on taking supplements.

Cll and being breathless.
About 4 years ago I was diagnosed with cll. I've noticed over a few years I'm getting breathless more often and it's lead to panic attacks. A doctor Darren Schmidt on YouTube said the condition could be due to a lack of vitamin B . I've just started taking vitamin B and the difference is incredible.

Seriously? Are You Trying to Kill Me?
I went back to the GP this morning and explained what has transpired over the past two and a half days... He apologised for the confusion and said that "yes," the Nurse Practitioner was right... usually a "full course" of UTI antibiotics is only 3 days, but he likes to prescribe 5 days, in certain
