Just used the Search Box,but decided to post to get answers after trawling for an answer to my query.

Is it a good idea to supplement with either of these B vitamins if underactive with Hashi's?If so,why?

I rarely eat meat, but I do eat all other foods.I supplement already with B vitamins: B1,B2,B5,B6,B12

Don't have Hashis. Biotin can help with hair and nail strength and works along with vit D, K2 and magnesium for bone health. Need to stop taking it 3-4 days before a blood test. Some people find that inositol helps with depression and anxiety, but there in plenty is vegetables, fruit (esp oranges), grains, nuts and seeds, and you can make it from carbs.

hello, biotin is also vitamin b7 or vitamin H. And as mentioned in an earlier comment, it will be great for your hair, skin and nails.

I would recommend. I personally took this to halt a terrible hair loss

Be aware that supplementing biotin must be stopped about 3 - 4 days before blood testing for anything, not just thyroid or nutrients.
