Timing a blood test.....how critical?
I’ve just read an interesting thread about dosing for T3. I didn’t want to hijack the discussion so thought I’d start again and outline what I see as a problem with getting a combo dose right. Like many on here I have continuing and irritating issues with endos who regulate against TSH primarily and

Supplements for endometriosis, detoxification and immune health
Hi ladies, I thought I’d post as I’ve been experiencing some positive change lately and wanted to share what I’ve been doing in the hope that it could bring relief to more people. I’ve read lots on supplements and alternative medicine and from reading about Ayurveda I kind of came across very good supplements

Ugh now diabetes
Hi again. I have now been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I have been put on insulin injections plus Metaformin at night. I am not over weight and have never had any sign of diabetes before suddenly taking seriously ill and being admitted to hospital. I know that Metaformin depletes Vitamin B levels

Experiences of amphotericin?
Hi. Jacmidlands over on the BLF forum replied to a post about my 12 yo daughter pointing me in this direction, and I’m hoping some of you can help. She has fairly severe cystic fibrosis, and we’re unfortunately very familiar with bacterial infection as a result, but fungal issues are relatively new.

Experiences of amphotericin?
Small person is off to 5* on Friday for her fortnight of the ‘good stuff’, a little earlier than planned although mostly ok overall, but with the addition of amphotericin alongside IV colomycin and piptaz. I’ll post a proper update soonish, as there’s been quite a bit going on even with lockdown happening

B12 Advice please.
Hi All I am still looking for an answer for aching muscles, which I've had for the last 3+ years now, so I've come on this forum. 90% of the aches are in the vastus medialis, as I am a keen cyclist. I am also hypothyroid and on NDT. I am also asthmatic, on seretide. My last 4 Medichecks Active B12 results

Anyone here taking Tenofovir Alafenamide (TAF) instead of Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate (TDF) for Hepatits B?
Hello all, I was wondering, are there any Hep B sufferers in the UK that have been prescribed the newer formulation of Tenofovir (Tenofovir alafenamide; TAF)? I know it is associated with a significantly lower risk of reduced kidney function. From what I have read in the available medical literature
