14 months with Bell's palsy!
Hi my names Laura and I've had Bell's palsy for 14 months now. I remember it like yesterday, I'd been out in the morning, got home and went to drink from a bottle and it spilt all down my face, I thought I'd just missed my mouth so went to do it again and the same happened. My tongue felt funny and I

Effective emollient moisturisers: tips please?
Sjogrens sicca dry overheated skin symptoms are even worse for me this winter than ever. Complicated by my raynauds being simultaneous with erythromelalgia, all are secondary to my infant onset systemic lupus.....along with various other typical secondaries. Am on daily hydroxychloroquine + mycophenolate

Advice please: prescription emollients
Sjogrens sicca dry overheated skin symptoms are even worse for me this winter than ever. Complicated by my raynauds being simultaneous with erythromelalgia I've had enough years learning to manage all this, and trying various over the counter moisturising products. So far, Aqueous cream doesn't work

Too Much Choice?
It'll have to be 'fridge supper tonight...there's half a squash lurking in the veggie drawer...why ever I buy Squashes heaven only knows...they don't actually taste of anything...just a sort of yellowy mush. There's a healthy looking parsnip...no carrots 'cos the donkeys have eaten those...and some potatoes

A bad tempered clapped out old bag goes on the rampage
I have far too much to do, and blogs should not be written at all until I have worked my way through the latest list of nonsense. I find that a long list with an oversized red tick every time I achieve finishing something involving repetitive tedium, can be motivating and make me feel smug and pleased

Hair thinning,dry scalp
I believe my hair has got thinner & my scalp ultra dry & itchy since my T4 conversion declined around 2010 after 13 years of Hashimotos,on thyroxine . But I also believe, after reading forums like"Earth Clinic"that I have folliculitis with chronic fungal or bacterial infections. My ageing german shepherd

Vitamin/natural aids: has anyone tried Apple cider vinegar or iodine to help endo?
On my journey with endo so far I have found a few comforts in certain vitamins (along with diet). One being vitamin E which seems to make a difference in how much pain I feel and how bloated I am. Drinking aloe Vera has the same positive affect (drinking only when not on period) There's so much to read

Aloe Vera?
Can anyone advise me with regards to using aloe vera to help with IBS? I've seen it mentioned on many websites however nowhere seems to specify if it's suitable for IBS-D, C, or both. I suffer mainly from D with occasional bouts of C that seem to be linked to my menstrual cycle. Is aloe vera something

Aloe Vera max cleanse, raspberry ketones
Please can I ask you all to be very careful if you are tempted to send for either of the above. I saw the add either on this site or my fitness friend and so thought for some reason that it would be Ok. I didn't think my first order had been accepted and as it was supposed to be a super free introductory
