I have been taking ventolin, reliever inhalers and antihistamines since childhood (aged 54 now). I have water retention, so I take bendroflumeziade and have done

Extra air to exhale? (after new meds)
Hi, I've noticed a few changes in my asthma/ breathing patterns and was wondering if anyone had similar experiences or advice which they could share. I've just switched this week from Seretide 500 to symbicort 200 (2 doses/ twice daily at this stage). So far my peak flow has increased slightly (420

Coughing
For the last couple of weeks I have had this cough mostly when I am talking, it takes my breathe away (is that a song?) I cough and cough and cough, if I have a drink of water it helps for a while, the cough seems to be only in my throat, seems like an irritation so today I have decided to start taking

Hi Guys...... Not sure if I have asked this on here before BUT, have any of you with RA had any anaphylactic episodes?
I have had four episodes of tongue swelling in the last four months, the first one ending in 3 lots of adrenaline and a hospital stay. Since then it has been a case of antihistamines and a short course of steroids, whoo hoo pain free for a wee while. I have actually stopped going to the hospital now

Itchy red spots on forearms? I have been given different names for the rash by all my doctors
Mine are very red an splotchy, usually are flat but sometimes are slightly raised. When mine start to heal after about three weeks the pigment turns brown, scaly.and still itches. A skin doctor said we lack vitamin C from avoiding the sun. and to always wear sunscreen and hydrocortisone plus moisturizers

Hi all, I am wondering if anyone has been troubled by itchy skin. Mainly on upper chest back of neck, behind ears and on inner thighs.
It started about a week before I commenced 2nd line Carboplatin/Taxol having been in remission for 6 months. Chemo seems to have exacerbated it and driving me crazy at night mainly when I get hot in bed so not sleeping very well. Seen G P a few times trying antihistamines creams etc which help a little

Exhausted
So I went to a GP who told me that my face is healing well although it takes more time than usual which I find weird. She also referred me to a counsellor. She gave me some antihistamines which thank god make me feel so drowsy so no problems with sleep! These days are being very difficult for me, I decided

Itching!!!
Just wondering if this happens to anyone else? I have a very allergic component to my asthma as well as pretty bad hayfever which triggers asthma and also awful eczema. The eczema hasn't been too bad over the past few months - a few patches of it, soon going with hydrocortisone cream. But not been able

Hypothyroid Queen's drama and fuss, progress with autoimmune and LDN adventures!
This morning I awoke and screeched with laughter - my husband was standing looking puzzled at the bottom of my bed, announcing how very tight his trousers were feeling, and asking my opinion on his appearance. He had of course put on my skinny black jeans convinced they were his. I don't know if it

Vasculitis related?
I have very itchy palms and they are driving me mad! Under the skin are spots which are hard to see - but make my hands feel rough to the touch. I can feel my hands throb sometimes and the palms have reddened. I have been using Dermovate ointment and antihistamine tablets. I don't know what else to

Asthma and chronic insomnia
I was wondering if anyone could offer me some advice. I have been asthmatic since I was two or three years old but until this week, I haven't had a flare up since before I was a teenager (I'm 27 tomorrow) so I haven't taken any medications until now. On Monday, my neighbour was cutting my grass for
