Itchy red spots on forearms? I have been given different names for the rash by all my doctors

Mine are very red an splotchy, usually are flat but sometimes are slightly raised. When mine start to heal after about three weeks the pigment turns brown, scaly.and still itches. A skin doctor said we lack vitamin C from avoiding the sun. and to always wear sunscreen and hydrocortisone plus moisturizers and maximum strength . Hi.. It sound like lupus rash, i hv the same problem.. My rheumy prescribed dermovate for forearms n chest n the rest of the body.
