The poisoning has left me very weak and exhausted. My ra is playing up as well just as well i an down to see the rheumy on Thursday. It will be needed as my joints are very sore at the moment. Have a good day everyone. xxxxx

I became very ill with food poisoning in Portugal approx 3 weeks ago. Saw 3 drs who all prescribed probiotics. In the end I spent all day in Faro hospital having a 4 hour drip and CT scan. No sample taken. I lost half a stone . Back in UK tested and had campylobacter . Scan showed nothing.

Hi, To all with bronch and/or doctors with knowledge of mercury poisoning, have pink disease as a baby? If yes, then would you be knid enough to write privately with any information? The more niggling problems that my wife has, we believe many are related to mercury poisoning.

A Few days prior to embryo transfer a friend gave me some olives which unfortunately gave me really bad food poisoning and made me throw up. It only lasted a day, but it was about three days before my embryo transfer, I didn’t think to tell my doctor as it only last a day and I remain hydrated.

I had a really bad night with stomach ache resulting in D & V I have not changed my dose (8mg) so I am thinking this is food poisoning .. I slept most of the morning eventually so took my Pred at 12noon instead of 8am and have not eaten but have been drinking water.

Hi my friends, I was given Flagyl to treat my digestive system after an episode of food poisoning but this medicine caused a lot of annoying side effects like heartburn and bloating. Did any one had this medicine and how did you feel. Many thanks

I’m assuming from the sour cream and such but I’m slightly scared I’ll get food poisoning . I now feel nauseous but I don’t know if it’s in my head and I’m scared.

Op was good but was back in A+E after a severe bout of food poisoning, a week after hospital discharge. I was told and given a 6 week appointment for a review. This was cancelled 2 days before the hospital date.
