Advice on deliberate poisoning, persistent symptoms, and substance detection.

Hello everyone,

I am a 42-year-old man experiencing persistent symptoms, including joint pain, skin rashes, insomnia, and chronic fatigue. Despite completely avoiding food from my home, these symptoms persist, and new ones occasionally appear, making the situation even more difficult to understand.

Tests have detected the presence of an SSRI antidepressant and an antimetabolite (anticancer drug), but other substances may also be involved. The problem is that I do not experience any immediate effects after exposure, making it difficult to identify the method or timing of administration.

I am seeking advice on the following points:

What methods could be used to secretly administer a substance like an SSRI or an antimetabolite? Is there a reliable way to detect the presence of suspicious substances before ingestion?

Thank you in advance for your help and recommendations.

Why would anyone want to poison you? There must be a good reason why anyone would go to all that trouble.

What connection is it to you?

For other readers -- look carefully at the moniker picture.

Most unusual. And lovely.

Is it Iceland?

You seem to be assuming that your symptoms are due to substance ingestion, what have you done to rule out other explanations?

The fact that lab tests confirmed the presence of an SSRI and an antimetabolite—substances I was never prescribed—strongly suggests an external source of exposure. This is why I am trying to understand possible methods of administration.

Sorry but this all seems extremely unlikely to me. Also, how can we advise on how your food might become contaminated when we know absolutely nothing about where it comes from? Seems to me only the police, or maybe a private detective, could be of help here.

you say you are avoiding all food from home, but what does that mean. Do others have access to your groceries or do others prepare food you consume?

If it’s the case that you digest nothing that others have contact with, then what about work?

Or some kind of contamination in your water supply. I guess that’s a long shot as the substances you mentioned don’t sound like the type of things to contaminate your water

You mentioned lab tests, have you commissioned these yourself or via your GP. What does your GP think and have you contacted the Police?

Hi there,

I think that if you feel that something of this nature has happened it would be wise to contact the police.

Best wishes
