PMR symptoms after steroid injection 12 days ago
Happy New Year everyone. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas .š I posted just before Christmas about awful shoulder and neck pain and that I saw a private doctor who thinks my symptoms are PMR. He gave me a steroid injection. It has helped dampen down the pain. It was excruciating but has since

steroid injection
Hi everyone Happy New Year to you all. Can anyone answer my question if it's safe to have a steroid injection for frozen shoulder if you have open angle glaucoma? Don't know what to do. Many thanks in advance.

What would cause spontaneous prostate stimulation?
What would cause spontaneous prostate stimulation while lying on my back? When I lie down, in a few seconds it feels like someone is manually stimulating my prostate. This lasts for hours at a time and I cannot sleep. This started immediately after a nocturnal emission, and I haven't had one since, even

Biologic with covid
Testing positive for covid and am am taking a biologic.Like my head the info is a bit wooly, but I think it maybe that I should suspend the biologic until covid test is negative. Presume this is correct as i think it should make sense. Is anyone in similar circumstances able to confirm or otherwise?

Unexplained increase in mortality rates
I'd like to begin by saying I'm not a conspiracy theorist by any stretch of the imagination but having heard so many stories (mostly first hand and through personal experience) since the outbreak of Covid in Jan 2020 I am beginning to question what's going on. A recent publication in LANCET, no less

Issues sleeping, and other things
Diagnosed with chronic bronchitis 2 years ago. I had some sort of flare in Jan that never settled. Two weeks ago I started doxy followed by azithro & 10 days of steroids. Some mild SOB on incline walking in the last month. Normally I clear my mucus with sea swimming (fit & active 40 yr old M). A week

Tonsil Stones from IVF Treatment - Anyone Else?
I began my first cycle of IVF back in the summer of 2020. Whilst in treatment and injecting Gonal F, I started having tonsil stones. These are debris that builds up and sit in your tonsils causing some discomfort. I ended up doing 4 rounds of IVF so obviously the drugs/hormones messed up my body somewhat

Habituation
Hi. I'm 14 months in with T. Aged 47, male. Has several hearing checks, minor hearing loss but doesn't warrant hearing aids. My main question was about habituation. How exactly do you define this? I've got to a point were it doesn't cause me distress, it's more annoying than anything else. Is this a

Need advice on what to do next!
Recently diagnosed with Hashimotos following endocrinologist appt, which was actually to investigate causes for my hair loss (lost 60% of hair after covid vaccination, then Covid itself in early 2022). Also been suffering other symptoms for around 2 years - weight gain, tired all the time, joint pains

Measles outbreak
Hi, not sure if I'm being silly so looking for abit of reassurance. I'm on rituximab, azathioprine and prednisolone. I'm up-to-date with vaccinations bit concerned about the measles outbreak in my area. Am I at risk due to being immunocompromised?

Does anyone know how to obtain Covid Rapid Lateral Flow Tests free-of-charge in the U.K.? The Gov U.K. site says they are not available direct but are available via your local Pharmacy. None of my local pharmacy stores issue these tests free-of-charge under the NHS but are happy to charge Ā£13 each, even
