It has been 18 months since I completed my CLL Obinutuzumab plus Venclexta treatment protocol. I was in remission. I have had four Covid-19 vaccinations and two Evusheld vaccinations over that time. So, last week is the first time I ventured into the public transportation system in 2-1/2 years. I traveled to California to visit my brother. I had a 2 hour layover to change planes in the Las Vegas airport each way. I told my wife that if I don't contract Covid on this trip through Vegas, I will never catch Covid. Well, I contracted Covid. The good news is I only felt bad for 3 days (mild fever, chills, headache and rough breathing). Today, no fever and I feel half-decent. Only drugs I have taken are NyQuil at night and Advil during the day. Feels good to survive this. I was certain Covid-19 would put me in the hospital if I were to come down with it. The Leukemia Society had been monitoring my blood Covid antibodies and I had ZERO Covid antibodies when I finished my treatment. I am posting this to let you know my personal Covid-19 experience and give you some encouragement.

It Had To Happen!! Covid-19 Strikes!
HiGosh we are so similar! I finished O&V 18months ago. Have had 6 COVID vaccinations (the last just 6 days ago). Haven't had Evusheld as the UK did not want to go that way. I have been Umrd for nearly 2 years and feel pretty good apart from a mild chest infection that won't clear so am now on long term antibiotics. I too have avoided COVID despite having had no response to the jabs and having low IGs. Next week I am flying to Portugal to see my daughter so a bit anxious about airports etc. So it's great to hear you have coped well with Covid. That's a great encouragement to me. I will be wearing a mask in the airport and on the plane - I wonder if you did? No-one wearing masks in UK now so it's hard not to feel vulnerable when out and about.
Anyway I so pleased you have coped well and thanks for the useful update.
Best wishes for continued recovery
