Iodine and Povidone - A Chemistry Lesson
Over the years, we have seen many mentions of povidone-iodine. This video is the first time I have ever come across a proper explanation as to why povidone-iodine is chosen! It then continues with its aim of extracting pure iodine from povidone-iodine. The video could be very boring if you are

Separation/Divorce
Hi all, My husband and I are separating due to me having a brain cancer surgery injury. Can you recommend solicitors that are/have been really helpful with this sort of thing? Thanks in advance

‼ The lesion featured in this post may look like eczema or benign skin lesion, but it is in fact a melanoma! In rarer cases, all types of melanoma can lack pigmentation – these are known as amelanotic melanoma. Jane’s story below highlights just how important it is to get any abnormalities checked out

Selegiline side effects
Hi All. Due to drug shortages we've been unable to get rasagiline and had to swap to selegiline. Since the swap mum has had lots of unusual bleeding and the GP thinks it may be a side effect of the selegiline. Just wondered if anyone else has had similar problems and if so how did you resolve things?

I have been dealing with a skin condition for almost 3 years. I have seen other posts like mine. One person was even trying to get on a talk show. I too have been dismissed by health providers. I have had one person mention Reactive perforating collagenosis (RPC) Reactive perforating collagenosis (RPC

Crack in cranioplasty
I had a TBI when I was 6 years old and had plastic fitted into the back of my head to close it (cranioplasty). Some time ago however, I started getting some sudden pain (once I felt an electric current running through the back of my head; at age 40). After an MRI and CT Scan, it was found that I somehow

Masced Pro Training
‼ Over 25% of GP consultations are dermatology related, yet GPs only receive around 2 weeks training on dermatology AS A WHOLE - so unless a GP has what is referred to as 'a specialist interest in skin cancer', they have little-to-no training on the subject! That’s just one of the reasons why we developed

results of nail biopsy
At the end of last week I got my results of my nail biopsies. It is no fungus, no infection and best of all no cancer. They do not know what it actually is despite using numerous tests. A very happy outcome, as all medics seen in the process suspected subungual melanoma. I can live with not knowing

MRI prior to HDR Brachy and HDR intensity.
Hi Friends, Hey, I'm doing well to date in coping with HT and have just had 10 of my 23 VMAT radiation sessions. So far so good. BUT recently I was told that the radiation sessions are nothing compared to the "Brutal" HDR Brachy Boost I am having in mid-August. That wasn't what I wanted to hear, so

The death of Shannon Doherty has made me think about my own journey. It is not like I was a huge fan, but she was diagnosed with MBC the same time as I was- Feb 2020. so I have followed her and her open dialogue about her cancer.
