Since 1973, death rates from melanoma (the most serious type of skin cancer) have risen by 219% in men, compared to an increase of 76% in women and statistics reveal that men are 69% more likely to die from the disease!

Despite the fact that 1 in 4 men in the UK will develop a form of skin cancer in their lifetime, men are less likely to cover up with clothing & wear sunscreen, check their skin for signs of change or visit their GP with any concerns.

For all the advice, guidance and self-management tools you need to reduce your risk of skin cancer and detect the early warning signs - install the Skcin App on your mobile device:

Go to: app.skcin.org

(using Safari on iOS or Chrome on Android)

Tap ‘INSTALL’ and ‘Add to Home Screen’
