Postponing chemo because of radiation?
Hi all, My dads first radiation has been sheduled for June 21st. However his 3rd chemo is set for June 26th. When briefly speaking with his RO he mentioned that chemo would be postponed in order to do radiation. This confused a me a little bit as from my understanding the radiation would be for pain

Med change
Hi everyone, so it looks like I’m up for another med change. ( second one in 2 months 😳). My question is will I have to wait to get first med out of my system before starting the next one? I’m concerned that the cancer will grow if I’m not on anything. Just wondering what everyone’s experience

cost of Gold Fiducial Markers
I had three markers put into my prostate to assist targeting the Xray for radiotherapy. Whereas my Medicare advantage plan Humana paid for the procedure, the office nurse said I need to pay $75 for the markers as it is not covered. Is this true??? I have found no evidence for this.

Referral from Wales to England - any experience?
Hi. I'm HGSOC stage IVb diagnosed in Feb. Just had CT scan following 3rd cycle of carboplatin/paclitaxol and 2nd of Avastin. CA125 has reduced from 374 pre-chemo to 26 post 2nd cycle which I'm hoping is a positive sign! I have spread to my liver and spleen and have been told surgery will only be an option

Will I be offered surgery?
Hi All, I have HGSOC stage 1V and when I was diagnosed just over two years ago my abdominal tumour was 15cm x 11cm with a side mass of 4cm. I had spread to the lymph nodes in my neck and chest which have now gone. After two years of chemo the tumours had reduced but are now back to square one. I was

WORDS AND THOUGHTS
If it is not too much to ask, I would really appreciate your words and thoughts. I am sad, angry and frustrated with my husband's Prostate Cancer most of the time. I try to do things to take me to the calm place in my mind, but silent tears prevail. I journal, draw, paint, make cards for the homeless

Gastric cancer
I have had MBC since September 2019, being in remission for several months. In May I found out that the cancer is in my duodenum and stomach lining plus my skull. The cancer is inoperable because of where it is. Had to have feeding tube put in which is not pleasant! Have lost 34 pounds! Have begun getting
