phase 1 clinical trials at Royal Marsden — anyone has experience?
hi all .. I’ve been offered either a phase 1 clinical trial or a phase 3 clinical trial at the Royal Marsden . The difference is that in phase 1 , a possible new drug is having its first tests but in phase 3 , the drug has been shown to work in some patients and may move to being approved. however ,

ECE and CRIBRIFORM FOUND IN PATH REVIEW OF MSK BIOPSY BY UCSF
I am scheduled for SBRT at UCLA for 1/12/ 2023. However , UCSF did a path review of MSK's Biopsy report, and indicated that UCSF found additionally : 1
. the presence of "expansile cribriform subtype"
2. the "possible identification of extracapsular extension" described below:

Percentage of tissue with carsinoma when Gleason 9 and accuracy of normal ct scan
I am new here and I have two questions in my mind: 1. Biopsy data of right side is (left side no cancer): - 5/6 cores contains cancer - Gleason 4+5 - percentage of tissue with carsinoma is 21% If I understand correctly 21% is not very bad value. Does it make situation any better? 2. So far

Yes, Malecare helped write the ‘‘Comprehensive Cancer Survivorship Act’
I received several nice phone calls this morning, so I thought to share some good news and also highlight more of Malecare's brilliant work. Working with the congressional office of U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (FL-23) and several of my counterparts, I, representing Malecare and the prostate cancer

Update!!!
My MRI Scan results came back and says "nodular liver" . Is it really something I should be worried about. What are the chances that this nodule could be cancerous in future?New Fibroscore is 17.1 Kpa based on today's test, it's shame that I didn't know that today's appointment is about Fibroscan otherwise

Proctitis from Radiation
I had 27 sessions of IMRT in 2019 for prostate cancer. Even though I had the SpaceOAR procedure, I believe I have some rectal damage. Every now and then when I wipe after a bowel movement, there will be a bit of raw blood. I did have hemorrhoid surgery in 2008 but didn't see any blood through the years

Are test results important or how you feel?
I’ve been taking Armour thyroid meds since May after being on Thyroxine for 30 years. I’ve been feeling not too bad, got more energy and motivation and lost weight. My last blood test results indicated that I needed to increase my meds but if I try to take more than 1.5 grains, I feel terrible… anxious

2 weeks post Surgery
2 Week after RALP Has not been too bad since surgery . Most of the pain was gone in 3 days. Getting the Catheter removed was a big relief. Urinary issue has been ok with improvement and some control, maybe 50% back already. I'll take that as a good sign. Not worrying about ED for several more weeks

More cancer to deal with
I had my bladder cauterized to stop the bleeding i have been dealing with for few months. My Urologist took some tissue samples which unfortunately were positive for urothelial carcinoma. Muscularis propria was present and involved. I have to see another urologist who specializes in bladder cancer. Does

Imbruvica and other cancers
I've been on Imbruvica for almost three years, my blood numbers went to normal within a few months, the side effects were tolerable, the main thing was that I was always exhausted. Any way yesterday, I thought I had a respiratory infection and went to the Emergency room, and it turns out both lungs

Post Xeloda Options…Enobosarm?
Hi everyone, unfortunately my wife’s tumor markers have exponentially increased over the last 3 months so after 8 months of Xeloda we will need to make a treatment change soon. We’re currently contemplating the following options: Exemestane This is most commonly given in conjunction with Afinitor at
