Ibs
Hi New to group. Started to get symptoms of ibs about three months ago although I'm 65. I did have ibs about thirty years ago which cleared up after a short time thanks mainly to peppermint oil capsules - can you use brand names? Trying them now as current doctor not very helpful, had blood tests

Change to Apixaban
Picked up my first packs of Eliquis (Apixaban) today so will be starting them in the next couple of days once my warfarin INR is south of 2.0 (but only just!!). Quite exciting to think of all that lovely spinach and brocolli I can now enjoy without a care and no more trips to the hospital for blood

Pac's 3 months after ablation
I've learned so much reading these posts. This is a wonderful group - this is my first post. I am 52, female and was diagnosed with AFib in March 2014. I had a PVI ablation in August 2014. I recently finished wearing a 30 day monitor which showed lots and lots of PAC's. I thought it was afib since it

New Untested Compound to Allieviate SAD Symptoms
Every year my first symptom of SAD is sleepiness and brain fog, despite a mega powerful light-box, every morning. Then I get angry at myself for not being as physically and mentally capable as I was in the Summer. My anger turns inwards and I get SAD. My thinking and internalising ramps up then bam I'm

constant IBS
I'm after a bit of advice on coping with IBS. I have always struggled with tummy pain but I became really ill last year and have had IBS every day for nearly a year now. I had an endoscopy which revealed gastritis and a hiatus hernia. This explained the pain and sickness. I also had a colonoscopy and

Sigmoidoscopy next week
I was diagnosed with ibs a few years ago but recently have had excruciating pain in the lower left side of my abdomen spreading up towards the middle. I have seen a gastro consultant and they think ibs may have been misdiagnosed, I have a sigmoidoscopy booked for Monday to have a look inside my colon

What over the counter meds for stomach upset can I take with Warfarin? Before Warfarin I took Alka Seltzer and Pepto Bismol.
I was told I can take gas x and imodium. Are there any other OTC meds I can take without aspirin? Thank you.

Peppermint oil capsules
I have fairly infrequent bouts of IBS and found that no tablets were very effective. Then my GP went to a conference and was shown a video where peppermint oil was sprayed directly into the bowel of a woman patient. He said you could see the inflammation disappearing. He then prescribed Mintec capsules

Been prescribed buscopan after revisiting my Dr for IBS cramps and bloating on a morning when mebrevine and peppermint oil didn't work the
dose is 2 tablets 4 times a day by doctor but leaflet says 1 tablet 3 times a day for IBS, which should I do? I hate relying on medication but need it. Any advice greatly received :-)

I have had a reasonable spell with some minor symptoms but now having the following symptoms
Over the last few days have been feeling nauseous a lot of the time and a horrible feeling of over fullness in my,stomach even after eating small meals ( not bloating which I get as well) and also a 'full' feeling right up to my throat which feels sort of clogged up. Its definitely not a cold and I wondered
