Accidentally taking a double dose of Eliquis
Has anyone else suffered from CRS (Can't Remember "Stuff"), and accidentally taken two Eliquis 5mg instead of one just an hour apart? My doctor says not to worry, but skip this morning's dose and start again this evening, trying not to screw it up. If you have ever done this, did it cause you any problems

Anyone tried charcoal for IBS d
Happy New year everyone. I am new to the group and suffered over 30yrs with IBS mostly d, but last year had a very long painful period with c. Had tests for celiac, colonoscopy, gastroscope and cancer checks, all to no conclusion. I have been having severe bloating, my abdomen is hard like a football

A major criticism of the NOACs concluded that there was no way to “reverse” the blood thinning effect in patients who were actively bleeding. That particular limitation for Eliquis has now recently changed. Andexanet alfa was designed to reverse the blood thinning effects of factor Xa inhibitors. Recently

Hi all
I’m new to to this site and so glad I’ve found it. I was diagnosed with ibs in 2013, first symptoms started in 2012 after a bout of sickness on a break in Ireland. Since then I’ve been diagnosed with anxiety and depression, but also showed signs of that prior to diagnosis. Last Sunday a huge flare up

Chances of progression after ablation?
Hi All: i was just curious, and I know everyone is different, what are the odds of AF progressing to a permanent status? I have had an ablation and I am currently blanking. Only had one 5 hour run. Still on cardizem and metropolol and Eliquis. I rarely even have PACs anymore. I’m 39, and otherwise

Tattoo Update
I had asked for advice re: tattoos while on Eliquis. I went ahead and had a small text one done on my forearm. I found a tattoo guy who had experience with people on blood thinners. He knew I was super anxious, so he entertained me by being overly cautious. He even traced my veins with a marker and

Post ablation issues
It has been eight weeks since my Cryoablation. The fatigue is slowly lifting and I have much more energy now thank goodness. Lots of weird digestive issues, and random body pains...but nothing I can’t cope with. However the episodes of erratic heart rhythm (skipped and extra beats) are happening daily

Salicylate Intolerance Causing My (or Your!) RLS?
Hi, here’s the (rather long!) story of how I stumbled over a possible cause of my RLS in case it helps anyone. I had a horrible summer caused by a back injury, cystitis and allergic reactions all culminating together. It's no fun when you are bursting to pee while you can hardly move and the lower half

Eliquis Muscle pain
Eliquis and severe muscle Pain in both arms and shoulders. Switched to Eliquis from Riveraxaban a month ago due to numerous Haematoma on right leg. They're fading but this muscle pain is new. GP says may be due to Atorvastatin but i've been on these for 10 years.

Methotrexate/medical marijuana
I’ve been on methotrexate for over a year, and Humira for about 5 months. I’m also on an antidepressant. I have just started to feel the worst nausea and stomach discomfort and it seems like after I take my dose of MTX. I was on 10 tablets weekly and was just switched to 5 after complaining of the nausea

Worsening Constipation and Strange Tightness in Lower Left Rib
I have been suffering from worsening constipation and a strange sensation like a twig or boiled sweet is stuck in my lower left ribcage since June. It is more apparent when lying flat on my back. I have been to the doc five times and they think it is gas in splenic flexure area but I can't tell if the

Dvt and pe
Two years ago, I had a dvt behind my knee which resulted in a Pe in both lungs. I have been on Eliquis twice a day ever since. The doctor said I have to take Eliquis for life. Many people have said they have had Pe and dvt again. My doctor said it is highly unlikely that I would get another while on

Feeling dizzy and nauseous
Was diagnosed with paroxysmal afib on 3/19/18. Was put on eliquis 2x a day 5mg and diltiazem er 120 mg. I was already on bystolic 5mg 2x a day and 20mg of lisinopril. Lately I've been feeling dizzy and nauseous just about every day. Had an episode of afib on 9/1/18 because I was frightened by a pigeon

Filter
I have been told by 2 doctors that they don't do filters anymore. I have really bad scarring in my left groin from my first DVT, which led to a 2nd DVT in my calf years later. I feel at risk even though I wear a stocking and take Eliquis. I see a lot of people mentioning their filters they have had

Struggling after being taken off blood thinners
This is sure to be long. I'm a rambler. :) I was diagnosed with a PE in March 2018 a week after I had a procedure done on my heart (combination of that + birth control created a perfect storm). That I am aware of, I never had a DVT, but it was simply a clot from my groin that found its way to my lung

Flutter, Ablation and Ablation
I received the fluctuation and AF diagnosis in May after gastric bypass surgery. After two long doses, volatile home with propofenon (2x300gdia), atenol (2x25mgdia) and eliquis (2x5mgdia). I'm asymptomatic, the Holter shows very busy extras all night. I have ablation scheduled for October 23. I'm very
