Pudendal Nerve Blocks
Hello everyone, I just got diagnosed with PN after I had MR Neurography. I had vestibulectomy 3 months ago and am still miserable and in pain. My MRN report shows that I have thicker and intense left pudendal nerve than the right one. Since I have no clear cause (no fall, surgery, trauma) my doctor advised

Baffled and
For a while now(years) I been dealing with tingling, numbness in my toes and I always got the brush off or say we'll wait to see if you have the symptoms in the warm weather. How stupid can they be! Well, the doctor I have now, sent me to a specialist. My appt was yesterday. He shocked me into normality

TENS/EMS therapy for atrophied muscles
Folks, are you all OK? I went through a phenomenal spasticity and fatigue period. Still going through it. Bad as it is, I know it will pass. It always passes. Amazing that I used to suffer through it without medicine, unless you count booze. I've been taking phenomenal amounts of Modafinil and

T3 only and heart rate question
I have been on T3 only for 3 years and on a stable dose of 55mcg split into 3 doses. I have noticed at times that I get a fast pulse in my neck as the T3 reaches its peak - usually I only get this when I am ill. This week I have had very painful trapped nerve in my arm and was taking paracetamol and

Shingles
Due to have the second of my 2 rituximab infusions for RA last Thursday but started with shingles, yet again! So infusion cancelled and am on antiviral treatment for seven days. Has anyone else had a problem with cancelled treatments? How long can be left between infusions for it still to work? Will

Graves Disease. This is a brilliant but sad summary of GD that I have copied from another forum I am a member of.
"A letter to you from Graves’ Disease" Hi. My name is Graves, and I'm an invisible autoimmune chronic disease that attacks your thyroid gland. I am now velcro...ed to you for life. Others around you can't see me or hear me, but YOUR body feels me. I can attack you anywhere and anyhow I please. I can

Pudendal nerve block
After over 8 years of chronic nerve and muscle pain throughout my intimate and coccyx area I have finally found a Dr who thinks he may be able to help me. Going into Wythinshawe Hospital on 6th April to have a pudendal nerve block. Fingers crossed that it provides some form of relief after all my years

Lidocaine infustion
I had a ilioinguinal nerve block yesterday that didn't help at all, even though that is exactly where my pain is at (lower left abdomen radiating into upper inner groin). The pain dr. recommends I try a lidocaine infusion next. This is where they put an IV in your arm and then systemically administer

VISUAL CONTRAST SENSITIVITY TEST may reveal conditions with underlying infections like biotoxins, lyme disease and deficiencies.
This is an interesting test you can do online for free even though they would like a $10 donation but not necessary. There are certain markers in your test showing where the weaknesses may be. I wouldn't try to diagnose anything from it but if you have high scores it may give you a lift. I think

Shingles?
Is sexual intercourse the ONLY way of catching Shingles? I was raped by a female, she got me drunk, then did her business, I DO NOT remember anything about it, I was only told about it later. That was the only time I have ever had sexual intercourse. I have epilepsy, scholiosis and NF2, so stayed well

Tens machine
I wonder whether anyone has used a tens machine and if so how useful has it been. I get a lot of pain in my legs and even with 900mg of Gabapentin plus 150mg of Tramadol the pain persists. ed the machine last night with two pads on my yhigh muscle where the pain was worse. To my surprise the pain lessened

Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Hi Everyone I'm new to the community, and I am looking for any advice or tips to manage 24/7 pain. I fell and damaged my back back in late 2013. Slipping my T7-8 T11-12 L4-5 and L5-S1. As you can imagine I was in a conciderable amount of pain. After having 3 MRI scans and going trough numerous painkillers

Pain management
I imagine many of you have similar problems but why are doctors so bad at discussing/helping with pain management? I am currently waiting for more surgery for my endo, which is thankfully at the start of May. I have been to my doctors several times and spoke to my surgeons regarding the pain as I have
