Sharing a post with a list of companies working on disease modification therapies for PD
I've been very discreet here, having had on the top of YOPD, RLS. Both together is a real pain, and I wouldn't wish it to my worse enemy. However, I've been better very recently, and as I am jobhunting, I just saw that post while on Linkedin. There is a list of companies involved in disease modification

My father was recently diagnosed with PSP and I have been researching like crazy. I searched all 125 clinical trials on the Government website and all the pubmed articles and studies. This one just came out 3/31/23! It looked at all the studies that have been done on natural supplements, foods, therapies

Do you keep medications in the container they are received in? Inactive Ingredients may be Active.
The inactive ingredients are different among generic drugs. One of the generic carbidopa-levodopa brands has a filler in it that is very sensitive to moisture and light. The tablets are not enteric coated and the tablets do not have a shine like most tablets. They are manufactured and then shipped

Anavex Life (AVXL) Reports ANAVEX2-73 Shows Clinical Benefit in Long-Term 48-Week Phase 2 Extension Study
ANAVEX®2-73 (blarcamesine) is an oral small-molecule activator of the sigma-1 receptor (SIGMAR1), which data suggests is pivotal to restoring neural cell homeostasis and promoting neuroplasticity. Parkinson’s disease (PD) is a chronic, debilitating CNS disease and the second largest age-related disorder

Current Status and Future Perspectives on Stem Cell-Based Therapies for Parkinson’s Disease
The loss of a specific cell type, midbrain dopamine neurons in the substantia nigra, is the main cause of motor dysfunction in PD. Numerous preclinical and clinical studies using fetal cell transplantation have provided proof of concept that cell replacement therapy may be a viable therapeutic approach
