Amino Acid Protocol and Nausea
Happy New Year, I am writing to see if anyone has advice regarding my mom's nausea on the amino acid protocol. She had been doing well on the Mucuna pruriens at lower doses, no nausea in particular. Her movements seem to have improved, and she's been hiking and walking around a zoo, etc. this holiday

BPPV any sufferers?
I had my first bout of BPPV - Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo - about 4 yrs ago, then another 2.5 yrs ago and then one last night. This one was by far the worst with a bad feeling of nausea. Fortunately, the nurse at the hospital, when I had my first attack, knew exactly what it was and told us

Hello BLF friends This is how I came to meditation in fact. Truth is I had a small cancer years ago..I felt alright while I had gathered my energy to fight it but I needed the relaxation technique to get on with family life and work. It is a suggestive method. In fact I was taught to do my own, once

Parkinson's disease progression can be slowed with vigorous exercise

Interaction between supplements and selegiline
I'm on selegiline. Noticed worsening of symptoms when started taking 5-HTP. When checked from WebMD , it was confirmed that it is a result of interaction between the two. Wondering if there are supplements also that interact with PD medications. I guess that there may be some excel sheet or table available

Helpless and Guilty
My mother was diagnosed with CBD in July, but she's had symptoms for approximately 3 years. She uses a walker around the house, balance is horrible, her right leg is quite useless and her right arm is bent most of the time. Mentally she recalls some things with ease, other things not at all. Slow physical

How To Stop and Prevent Sarcopenia (loss of muscle mass and strength)
"Sarcopenia, the loss of muscle mass and strength, becomes more common with age and can decrease lifespan and quality of life. "Eating enough calories and high-quality protein can slow down the rate of muscle loss. Omega-3 and creatine supplements may also help fight sarcopenia. "Nevertheless, exercising

Long Term Usage Mucuna Extract vs Mucuna Whole Herb
I was formally diagnosed in 2011. Shortly after this occurred, because I have a 40 year background in natural medicine, and also because I was unable to tolerate Sinemet, I started to try various natural protocols that had been shown to be effective for some people with Parkinson's. One of the first

PSP and "freezing"? PSP in Africa
Hi, my dad has just been diagnosed with PSP. He lives in Zimbabwe. (anyone else out there?) I don't think PSP is so well recognised in Africa. He was originally diagnosed wiht Parkinsons in 2014. But has had lots of falls and has deteriorated fairly rapidly and now the local neurologist thinks its
